This strap cutter is well thought out,neither over ingineered nor complicated. I'll make one that shall be useful to cut properly traps of rubber or foam-rubber (that's very difficult with the usual wooden strap cutter).Thanks for sharing.
I’ve already redesigned this tool three different ways in my head before you got it put together. Not wasting my money, I’ll make an upgraded version on my Smithy’s mill.
Hi, I wonder if you'd be interested in building and selling me a custom strip maker like the one in the video. I need a tool that cuts strips with uniform width every time. It doesn't have to be perfect, but as close as possible. The strips would be made in 1.5" to 6" width. Thanks.

It’s just a strap cutter.
I don't think is complicated and is very easy to fix to put it your way , and once you set it to the size you use the most, ain't a big deal.... If you ask for more for 34 bucks, you won't find it...
It’s not him folks. This tool really does suck as much as it seems to in this video. Fiddle, fiddle, adjust, fiddle more....yes, genuine sucking. (For me anyway...but I only work with kangaroo leather...maybe it’s a great tool for cowhide).

Deceptive title. This is not a splitter or a paring tool. At best, it is an overly-complex strap/lace cutter. Simple straight-edge with a round knife will do the job faster, more easily and probably far more accurately.
