Hello, Dr. Saab mere patient ko phle hemithyriodectomy surgery huie on 25th Dec. 2023 and after that biopsy report showed papillary thyroid carcinoma classical sub type and after that my patient went for second surgery, I mean completion Thyriodectomy on 18th of march 2024 in smsh hospital srinagar kashmir. On next consultation Dr. Advised for tft test and calcium and tsh was 45.54 on report and patient was on thyroxine 88 mcg before and after surgery, dose was not increased. Now today 20th April 2024 Dr advised for RAI therapy but patient is breast feeding ten months baby and advised to stop thyroxine tablet for one month prior to RAI and also stop breast feeding to baby for one month prior to RAI and date for RAI has given two months later in July ending 2024.Now I needs your guidance, please advice me what should I do, should I wait or not, please needs your help..

In case radio iodine uptake na ho( low dose m, 2 mci) to uska kya solution hai, cancer metastatis hai, plz reply ma@m
Freshly diagnosed patient mein no uptake of radioiodine means no metastasis
However long term follow up Mein if suddenly there is no radioiodine uptake means nature of cancer has changed and now become poorly differentiated

Shuru mein 6 months mein.. later ultrasound and thyroglobulin is used to monitor if high then only radioiodine scan is repeated

Cancer aane ka darr to rehta hai depends on many factors .. kabhi neck mein lymph nodes mein , kabhi kabhi other organs mein.. Lakin thyroid ek aisa cancer jiska bahut accha treatment ho jaata hai

Bahut jyada problem nahi hoti.. thoda weakness and lethargy hoti hai.. Jo ki tablet start karne ke baad reverse Jo jaati hai

Mam mera total thyroid hua hai. Surgery ke baad 2 radio iodine therapy bhi ho gya hai.ab third time scan hone wala hai. Mujhe darr hai k yeh radioiodine koi or cancer to paida nahi krega? Meri age30 hai. Or tumor 2 cm se chhota tha. Uptake scan mein minimally invasive follicular cell aya tha to kya jaroori tha yeh radio iodine therapy?
Radiodine scan se cancer bahut unlikely hai.. scan mein low dose Hota Hai.. aap mujhe apne reports share Karo.. phir I can guide you better.. send on 98716 74818
