Great review! I own a m5 mantra and want to get a more wide ski that covers what the mantra doesnt. I think that would be playfulness(butters, swtiches and general a general poppy ski, and park) but also deep snow(110-116 underfoot preferably). Do you think this ski is it? And if not can you please recommend me some skis. Also it should be noted i am 186cm and 93kg(so a super soft ski like bents might be too soft but i dont know)and I also suffer from knee pain (not severe but enough to cut a day short) Thanks!
We've had nothing but good times on the Sender Free 110. Great energy, flotation, and playfulness for sure. Armada ARV 112 and Dynastar M-Free 112 should also be on the list, with the ARV as a more flexible option and the M-Free as a denser one.
Curious how you'd rate this against the M Free 108 as a northern Vermont pow ski. Specifically in the steeper natural terrain and trees. Do you give up a lot of smeariness and flickability against the Dynastar?
Really similar skis overall. I think the metal of the Sender is balanced by the PU of the M-Free in terms of stability and smoothness. The Dynastar rocker is a bit more freeride oriented while the Rossignol looks more like a fat park ski. I'd say the Dynastar is a better and smoother floater overall while the Rossignol has better grip, stability, and power, but it's pretty darn close.
I already own a Draco freebird with touring bindings that I use as my main powder ski right now. as a resort powder/freeride ski do you think something like this still makes sense or should I go bigger like an anima or a sender 118? (I ski in austria)
I am a freeride athlete, 125 lbs 5'5. I'm not sure if I should go with the 176 size or the 184. 180 is really my sweet spot and not really a fan of shorter skis, but I'm worried 184 will be to long?
How does this ski compare to the 106 TI Plus? 6'0 300 lb expert skier and looking for a daily driver to sit between my 94 TI carvers and K2 crescendo powder skis as a Western skier
They share very similar constructions, with poplar wood, titanal laminate, and carbon alloy matrix. The width of the 110 and the more freeride shape bring that ski to the forefront of the freeride conversation while the 106's directional footprint allow for smoother carving on groomers and through the crud and chop.
Hi! Since the Rossignol sender free 110 came out i have been wondering how it compares to the Black crows anima. Is it a similar ski or is there a big difference? I own the anima in 189 size, its a blast but sometimes i think the 182 would be better for more movability and playfulness. What are you thoughts regarding that? Im 6 feet and weigh 150lbs.
The Anima isn't quite as flexible or playful as the Sender Free. I think more aggressive and chargy skiers will gravitate to Anima. It does seem like the 182 would be a better size for your stats, and the 184 in the Sender.
I'd go 176 here to take advantage of the stability. 168 is on the table, but if you're in wider spaces and at higher speeds, it's nice to have the extra stick.
There's more flex in the Sender Free 110, and it feels rounder in nature. Closer to the Blank than the 106, except for the longer turn radius. The Blank is surprising because it can make shorter carved turns but can also run straight and fast when asked. The 106 is more nimble and all-mountain oriented--if you're on-trail or in a carving format at all, that's a great choice. For deeper snow, the Blank is an awesome floater while the 110 is a bit higher octane overall.
The Mana and the Reckoner are more symmetrical in shape, giving them more of a balanced freestyle feel. The Sender Free 110 is more directional, even though there's a ton of rocker and a very twin tipped shape. If you're looking for a more aggressive ski, I think the Rossignol is the place to be.
Wondering if Rossi is releasing anymore of the limited edition top sheet twigs. The one that they did for Marcus is amazing.
On their website it shows a bunch of different limited edition graphics--not sure if they're doing more.
Magnifique se ski 😊😊😊😊
Great review!
Thanks!

Hey guys , I’m 6‘1 and an andvanced skier in the freeride world (mostly use for deep snow in the resort). Should I go with the 184 or 191?
I'd say 184 unless you know you prefer longer skis.

I think the 110 is a good place to be--enough width for resort skiing and considerably more versatile than the wider skis on your list.

Preference is more important than stats. I'd go 184 if you know you prefer longer skis and need the required stability in competition settings.

what you think abolut mouting pivot 15, -3 form center?
If you're looking for a more centered and balanced character, then sounds good!
Hello, good video ! There are the 2024 ? And what the difference between the 2024 and 2025 ( exept the color ? ) thanks
It's the same ski with a slightly different topsheet.
@@SkiEssentials Thanks ! And for you, who's the best ? 2024 the dark and 2025 the clear ?
Hi I'm 5.6 and 183 lbs advanced which length should I choose
I'd go 176 here to take advantage of the stability. 168 is on the table, but if you're in wider spaces and at higher speeds, it's nice to have the extra stick.
@ thanks i go 176 )
How does this compare to the QST 106 and Blank? Thanks!

Hi, I'm 5 8 and 180lb advanced skier. Should I go 176 or 184? Thanks!
I'd say the 176 will fit your stats and application better than the 184.
5’8 135 what size should I get in your guys opinion?
I'd go 176 if you're on the aggressive side.
Hey guys i am between the k2 reckoner 112 from last year the 110 from this and the Mana 3 could anyone please give ma a help
