The word "would" is definitively difficult to understand. Thank you for your great explanations.

Suppose sitting on chair i watch a video randomly and see a guy and seeing him i wish for something... *I wish i hugged him OR I wish i could hug him* so which one is correct and I believe both keep perticular meaning in themselves but still... *I wish this raining would stop right now Or I wish this raining stopped right now* also my little brother isn't studying and now he started watching his favourite show so now I'm like *"I wish the power went out right now OR I wish the power would go out.... Or i would say i wish the show didn't telecast today or i wish the show would not telecast today"* please explain sir 🙏

Hello, thanks for your interesting questions.
I wish I hugged him. Hugged is the past participle of to hug, so it would really need an auxiliary verb. I wish I had hugged him, in the past tense. I wish I could hug him is better because you are expressing a desire, showing there is something you want to do.
I wish this raining would stop right now. Raining is a gerund but here you just require the noun - I wish this rain would stop right now.
I wish the power would go out right now is OK but...
In the second sentence I wish the show didn't telecast today we have some errors.
The show is being broadcast now as the adverb 'today' indicates, so we are in the present. This is better expressed as a passive sentence like this: I wish the show wasn't being broadcast today (by the TV company) Even though we are in the present, I have used an unreal past continuous verb in the passive structure to express my wish.
I wish the show would not BE telecast today is possible, but this structure is a little awkward and should be avoided.
      I hope this helps.
      Regards, Charles

@@splendidenglishgrammar Ohhhh Thanks for correcting my sentences but first thing i would say i didn't understand how my first sentence could be incorrect (that hugged one) because i read somewhere that if you want to express your sudden desire or feelings to happen or to be different then should be used SECOND FORM OF VERB like.. I wish got there (as or while speaking) so right now i wish to be there (like there were a door that i opened and reached there) even in the bracket i used subjunctive because it's totally unreal, the main thing is it has nothing to do with any past situation, hasn't it?... Watching any random video and expressing desire doesn't become my past If i say i had hugged doesn't it mean i was there and even spent sometime and was watching him standing there and after coming home i came across a video of there i maybe wish (I wish i had hugged him???) *Sorry if I'm confusing between PAST SUBJUNCTIVE and THIRD CONDITIONAL OF IF CLAUSES* but I'm totally satisfied with that telivision (show broadcasting one) example but still please sir🙏

Yes it would be Ok to use the expression like that because an English speaker would understand what you meant. It all depends on the context. Well done for using these advanced expressions.
