Welcome home. So glad you had an awesome time. I still remember the first time I met you in person and how I was in awe meeting you. As for stitching something for someone else -- go ahead and stitch that special gift for someone else knowing you are bringing them happiness and joy!!! I cherish a special stitched gift from you. Also, know that your stitching brings others so much joy, just like when you receive a gift from another stitcher you admire. We feel the same excitement ❤️ Happy stitching.
OMG! Such treasures! I love that you refer to yourself as a ‘magpie’ over small things - I’m right there! Went over and ordered some of Cotton and Clay UK items!!! 🎉❤
Great video! Exquisite stitching!
It was wonderful to meet you and to sup a cider together. Im still recovering from the weekend it was so exciting 😊
Everyone needs a Hazel in their life! Was lucky enough to sit next to her for the whole weekend ❤
Hi Caroline, It was so lovely to meet you in the queue at the Big Stitch and chat about Chatsworth. I've read the Bess of Hardwick book - she was a wonderful, formidable woman. I hope to meet you again sometime when I won't be quite so starstruck! Happy Stitching, love Clare xxx
And it was lovely to meet you!! I beetled over to your TH-cam channel and subscribed ❤️
What a wonderful time you had. And meeting MommaLovesYouGB is so fantastic. I wake up every Sunday morning and watch her video. So much talent just like you and Carrie. Thank you ladies. Have a wonderful day🥰
Cotton and Clay is on Etsy and started a flosstube a few months ago x
A good friend is better than gold! How blessed you both are. Love you gals….wonderful video. Have bought a few things from you and love the fabric and the floss. Keep having Hannah make those conversions of fabulous patterns. I am a big fan.

Wow, this was a proper catching up video, thanks so much. I was agog of everything you showed, so much so that I didn’t even take a coffee break 🤣 the time just flew by.
I’m very happy that you and Carrie had such a wonderful time.
Happy stitching and cheers from Montreal 🍁🇨🇦
Loved the video! Giggled with the bracelet that your “chauffeur” wore on her left arm. ❤
Great to see you tonight Caroline. So glad you had a great time in UK. Chatsworth House is beautiful inside & out. I also bought & stitched a sampler from there as a momento of my visit. I'd love to go back some day.
Love Sally's strawberry, a gift to treasure.
Love all your projects as usual. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
Jenny here! (Anyone else get a tiny bit nervous when they hear their name mentioned? 😂) As I recall it was less “you probably don’t know me” and more “you haven’t a clue who I am” lol
I wasn’t aware of Hazel prior to the weekend, but I was also the recipient of some of her sewing, what a kind and generous lady she is ❤
Fabulous goodies, fabulous recap, I look forward to the video with Kerri.
In the states, Labor Day is the first Monday in September.
I turn 50 next year and am thinking about big stitch... sounds amazing!
Thank you for sharing.
Welcome home, glad you both had a great time and drove on the left!
You have picked the perfect small pattern for Canada Swaps. I love the story about taking your frame. Love the video. 🦉🪡🧵🌞 ps…love all the Roxy floss I got for my retirement gift.
Enormously enjoying this flosstube, though in bits here and there. I’m on holiday in the Belgian coastal village of Middelkerke with my children and grandchildren. No time for cross stitching, although I must finish a little gift for my almost four year old granddaughter Fenna. The weather is great, so this morning I had some hours at the cottage while the rest went to the beach. Hours I spent watching you talking about the Big Stitch and working on the little ballet dancer I’m making. Having a great time, in your company!
I know I'm a month late here - but I so appreciate your words of kindness. I hope you had a lovely holiday with your family ❤️
I really enjoyed this visit. So much news. I am glad you had such a great time!
What a wonderful trip! Thank you for sharing!
WOW!! So many goodies 🛍️for memories of your retreat and visits. My friend and I are going to Ireland in September so we’ll be white knuckling driving on opposite side of roads as well. Hopefully will go ok. Think I’m going to be the navigator…lol. Enjoyed your video.
Enjoyed the video. Sounds like a wonderful trip.
Just found your flosstube and I'm probably sure you've answered this question, but, the sampler in the video on the wall that's to the left of your head on the light colored fabric is beautiful! What pattern is that? Also, I just finished summer garden at cranberry manor and it was an absolute delight to stitch!
Hi! I’m pretty sure that you’re referring to Matters Choice by Carriage House Sampling - isn’t it wonderful!!
Somehow I missed what the idiom really was and what it meant 🤔
Possibly "Ey up" (pronouced roughly 'eee ooop') meaning 'Hi' or 'How are you doing'
[Yorkshire grand-da]
It’s like “you all right” but mashed into one word - “yalright”
Yes - ey up, or ai up was def another one!
Thank you for asking the question. I was trying to figure it out too.
What are the patterns just by your head - the ladies with big dresses? Thanks!
Hello! Those are the wonderful Queen charts from Ellen of Maximum Cross Stitch. She has Anne, Elizabeth and Catherine 😊
☕☕☕💖
What did that Yorkshire word mean?
It’s a bit of a greeting. It’s like asking if you’re all right - but they really don’t want to know. 😂 - sort of a hello or apology or whatever. I still am not 💯 clear because it was used a lot and they don’t really notice it.
