They qualified for the 2008-09 UEFA Cup and got drawn in the same group as PSG (they got a 2-2 draw) and Manchester City (they beat them here in Santander 3-1) and got grouped by a goal (+2 for PSG, +1 for Racing). In 2012, they got relegated to the Second Division and have been alternating between the 3rd and the 2nd Division without any options of returning to LaLiga. They're currently fighting for the 6th place which grants them access to the Play-off to LaLiga in Segunda División. It would be incredible if you made them win the UCL. Imho when doing rebuilds, itll be more interesting if you do with in the current irl state of the club, use mods and make it so that the team has exact same points as they do irl So itll be tougher
If you see my comment Jarrad, I recommend to use Angel Alarcón, he's a 67 rated striker and i haven't checked his potential but when i use him, he always worth +100 mil and if your pacient, you can make him about 85+ rated after 4 seasons
