So I'm in the room all by myself and since I was previous military (Navy Ordnanceman) we were always told to police our work area when finished, so that's what I did. You would have thought I was a F-ing ALIEN! Took me literally a week to find out what the deal was. I had to ask the job foreman WTF was going on....he literally looked at me and said "Boy, I've been doing this for nearly 20 years and I can count on one hand how many people I have seen do that on a daily basis.....keep it up!"

As the son of a 3rd generation IBEW electrician, that electrician has been done with the job for weeks now. Hell, it takes about 10-14 business days _just_ for them to find the broom, especially if the apprentice got sent out to look for it.

My stepdad was a journeyman welder for the local 808 ironworkers Union out of Orlando Florida he had been teaching how to weld for about a week when he brought home his apprentice of almost 4 years and was teaching him how to pass the final test and playing around he had me and this guy do the same welds I will tell you this he was laid off at the end of the next day because it had gotten around that he lost to a person who had only been welding for a week I really didn't believe when my stepdad had told me that what had just did would have passed me for the 6G welding exam

Hydro tests are simp k e to pass. As a young pipeline I used to run 200 stringer beads a day on 4" 250 wall pipe building gathering stations for natural gas gathering stations. 100% ex Ray. Every weld.
In Newberg Oregon they're installing a new hospital. I was greas for the general contractor. We had so many trades working a certain area I was able to pressure, guilt, and shame an electrician into cleaning up his own mess.

As a former electrician, we don't sweep at a build site unless it's a danger to ourself, and then we only do it enough for our own safety.
As a current electrician, let me bring you up to speed. We now also sweep to mess with the other trades
