  • P407. DW10BTED4 engine, Siemens injection. Better startup when +4, but some noises post startup, after 3-4 seconds:
    • Peugeot 407 2.0HDi col...
Smoke has appeared after turbo charger repair.
P.S. Have changed dual mass flywheel, but no luck. Same startup and puff of white smoke then +4 outside. :) Next prime suspect - fuel pressure regulator.

Siemens injectors :D but they are changed... and when I had an damaged turbo, engine started without problems. rattle sound ofcourse was the same :D

Injectors aren't the cause of rattle sound.
      Get good synthetic oil.

    I would check:
    -DMF
    -crankshaft pulley
    -pressure regulator
And what oil are you using?
That pressure valve is a lot of trouble. My 406 2.0 HDi just had it changed and it's broken again. Cause? Bad fuel quality ...

***** Oil - Castrol 5W30. Fuel pressure regulator? But on this system it's so rare issue (with DW10BTED4 engine, and siemens injection, not BOSH). And Lexia does not showing any issues with fuel line. Of course it can be. Because in another video, where is some little RPM pulsation.BTW regulator is not so expensive:

I can try change with used one from salvage. :)

Lexia didn't show anything when my regulator was dirty. Cleaning did the job.
Siemens injection you say. so regulator is out of the list I would say.
Sorry, I was mislead by my BOSCH injected engine.
Check your injectors (fuel dose), EGR, DPF. In this engine DPF is like 50% of problems.
Well, if your problem started after fixing turbo, I would start by visiting a person who "fix'd" it.
      :)

+SzwarcuKX5 I guess 5w30 Low ash is still too thick for that temprature. 5w20 maybe?

*w20 and *w30 has nothing to do with winter conditions. Read about oil designations.

Nope. Looks like bend piston problem. :( But engine is working and car is driving at now :D
