    Great video Eugene, and lovely that you were able to give prominence to my grandfather, Harry O'Rawe.
    A further interesting connection between Harry and the song is that he himself sailed to New York at least twice, looking for work in the mid 1920s and early 1930s when there was little to be had at home.

    I thought my head would explode if I heard this song one more time til the Dubliners and Pogues got together on it. BTW, what is that little shout out the Pogues drummer yells just before the last line.

      The Pogues and Ronnie Drew took it to a new level. I think the drummer shouts "two, three". 👍
