I went to a girls' grammar school from 11 and it was great. My mixed primary school was a nightmare, i just wanted to learn. My secondary school was brilliant.

There was definitely bullying and teachers did not care at all. Only in the students who were naturally doing well.
Doesn't matter if it's single or mixed, it depends on how good the teachers are.
