Every day's a good day for black and white photography 😊😊 lovely shots as always, i always leave my previsual set to black and white so i know straight away what i need to do
Amazing Photos .Love that Music at the end.I love my GR 3 but still I I love my Nikon or Leica sometimes that shows me a difference. Love .Keep Smiling
@@anils.rkumar6551 Thanks Anils. I love the fact that I find it quite easy and enjoyable to swap between my GR3 and Canon and the different approaches it gives me
I'm enjoying going from street / urban to natural landscapes, it keeps things interesting. BnW certainly work so much better than colour in these overcast conditions, and you've captured some lovely images Sir.
Some lovely clouds and mood, like the transition from fells to lowlands. I’ve been shooting trees in black and white for sometime, over exposing the trees makes for exciting images. A large bagful of keepers and deep dark mood! As always a pleasure to watch, thanks spud 😁👍
Not being from the UK it caught my attention when the (presumably public) path went through a (presumably private) farm. Here in the US there would typically be either a "no trespassing" sign and a likely locked gate and / or an alternate path around the private property. If I was a property owner in a scenic area I might think differently, but it strikes me as nice the way private property doesn't automatically block access to scenic areas (I guess it's a case of give-and-take). And this is definitely scenic -- I was thinking as the video started, "I can't imagine having access to such scenery... wow!" 🙂 I'm about 300-400 miles away from anything scenic, at best.
There’s quite a number of dedicated public paths that run through farms in the area, often going through the heart of the farm to allow full view of the livestock. Makes for an interesting walk. Thanks for watching. 300-400? Wow. Im literally 50m
Enjoyed those foreground grasses shots James. Reminded me of your cotton grass work of a few years back. Very nice
Cheers Jamie. Loving a bit o cotton grass but yeah, felt the grasses worked well

Thanks Christine. Indeed you are correct and especially effective when the blue skies make an appearance. The monochrome profile definitely helps 👍👍

Cheers Simon. It certainly keeps the mojo keeping strong. Agree, feel BW is the way forward for the fells
I like your chanel, greetings from Uruguay
Thanks very much… from Yorkshire 👍👍
Your videos and play lists never fail to delight, James. I look forward every week, whether you are amongst the fells or in urban areas.
@@giddylizzie Thank you Lizzie. I’m glad you like the mix between the 2 genres
Awesome video, man, with great pictures.
A great place to be.
I really like B&W photography.
I make 85% of my work in B&W.
Antoine
Thanks Antoine. I think I’m about 70/30 with B&W.

@@JamesRBurnsVLOG yep -- nearest mountains are 300 miles away. I'm in Louisiana and they're in Arkansas.
Well that was 14 minutes and 13 seconds of my life that I enjoyed 🙂Another set of great images.
Thank you very much. I do hope there’s other times of your life that you enjoy as well! 😳
@@JamesRBurnsVLOG Always 🤣
Grabbing the most out of the day James, the Mono works very well indeed, my favourite was at 13.45. then 6.15 and finally 11.59.
Thanks Iain. Good choices. The final shot is my fav
@@JamesRBurnsVLOG There is feeling in your work.
@@iaincphotography6051 and I feel that is very important. Cheers Iain
Very good, James
Cheers Dave 👍
Lovely b&w, more please :)
Many Thanks, I’ll see what I can do 😬👍
Nice James !
Many Thanks
Wonderful images. Did you shoot JPEG+Raw and then process the raw images into B&W or use the JEPGs to start from? I like the high contrast profiles.
Just set to monochrome profile so I get a good idea of the BW and shoot only RAW and process to JPEG using a preset I’ve made in process. Cheers 👍👍
I’m slowly realising monochrome is my style
Don’t you stop realising! 👍👍Cheers Steve
