man this piece is amazing. Heard it for the first time when I was 8 or 9. Watched the movie 1000 times. Wore out the tape. Grew up. Learned to play the guitar. Learned to play this piece. Listened to every possible rendition on the internet. Watched the movie again. And it still gets me every time. It's just a beautiful piece of music which happened to become an emotional snapshot of my childhood. What a precious thing.

@@samuelpi1670 Sure, but there was no thematic continuity from film to film outside of the occasional use of Hedwig's theme. And as much as I liked some of Hooper's and Desplat's score, they never came close to the one for PoA.
I mean, Alexandre Desplat was wasn't bad, they're all highly skilled composers, but I do wish there were more musical continuity across the series. So many great motifs were wasted by just being in 1 film.
