I like the sound of this guitar. Very special. Like a bit between a Jaguar and a Strat.

That would make sense as it was first the Strat, then the Jazzmaster, then the Jaguar in order.

cam u say me the sound difference with the jaguar? i would like to buy one of them but i don't know the difference

@@michelecantori2748 jazzmaster is a fuller sound. Jaguar is thinner.

Is this a guitar demo or an effects demo? Not sure.

Wow! How great to hear Dream Theater on a throwback Jazzmaster! You could be starting a revolution. Maybe one day we'll see Petrucci on stage with one (I can dream...) Get that man a 7-string Jazzmaster :)

hello I have question about guitar, do u use neck shim in it? and what is the string action? do u notice any buzzing on frets? also nice playing!

What's neck shim? There's no buzzing.

@@metropolisguitarmx1959 you put that between neck and boody to pull up the neck, mamy ppl saying its no1. Thing need to be done with that guitar, and I'm just asking cause IT sounds great on video and I was curious

I have one and I’ve read all these shim comments too. I don’t know where that got started by mine definitely doesn’t need the neck shimmed and I’ve played 3 others over the years and either of them needed a neck shim either so I don’t who started that bullshit.

A month ago I got a CV 60's jazzmaster, brand new and straight out of the store it sounded amazing. I have not had the need to use neck shim.

Wow man awesome playing!! Don't listen to Dream T much,
That might be the first time I've ever heard that.
You are still playing Octavarium at 2:40 right?

Is this guitar good for metal without any changing such as the bridge

Not really, the pickups are suited for pop, country, classic rock...

Bro, if you like the sound go for it... they were meant to be played by surf rock musicians but indie rock musicians adopted them, do you understand?
