@@tjayd1225 because the contract says exactly what it means, Kirk has 2 at $90 mil to play 2 years at a high level then it’s the young guys turn. Two guaranteed years for a reason. $10 mil on a third is nothing.

I still do not understand why the media is so freaked over having two great QBs. Perhaps because none of the media guessed correctly in their mocks.

I don’t think a first round pick would be in the cards not even if the Falcons kept the salary. Even then, I don’t think they can get more than a high third round pick… not for a quarterback that would be about to turn 37…
@@romain8390 I think so. A first round pick is always open for a starting QB? but they keep getting paid .. the fans can be against it but QBs are a must. if you don’t have a QB you will not win.. so he could get a first round pic of penix is great this year
@@ericw23 he’s worth something… but based on his talent and production, and salary, the first round pick would be a high stretch… Maybe he can get a third, to me. The Falcons will probably end up having to give up a high draft to get them to take on the salary, just like the Rams had to do with Jared Goff…

I think a lot of people are way off about Penix. They drafted him for the fact that last year Kirk did get hurt and was out the rest of the season. Also, Riddler and Penix could pick up tips and see what kirk is showing them on the field and on tape. My thoughts are that the Bears should've drafted Harrison Jr and then jumped up and grabbed Penix. Penix arm strength and his accuracy is way better than Caleb. Just saying

How does he have Penix ranked higher than Daniels when he had Daniels ranked higher all offseason.
Daniels has more potential but, Penix is the more refined NFL ready passer right now would be my guess
