    Why you removed all stabilizer bar, why you only didnt replaced links straight on the car?

    • @autodocuk

      Thank you for your comment.
      When the stabilizer is installed on the car, to replace its traction is quite problematic, which is why our mechanic decided to dismantle it first for a more convenient replacement.

    Good video except if you go into a store looking for a N06 endbit you'll be disappointed lol. The job actually calls for a Hex Bit H8 for the (4) sway bar bolts and an H12 on the back of the actual sway bar link. Also he doesn't cover to set the Sway bar links in the correct position when reinstalling. you have to tork the nuts back down so if you don't set them right the before doing so. I marked the old unit still on the sway bar then when i took it off marked the old unit in the same area. if you happen to be off just a bit when putting the bar back in you can help it along with a mallet .

    Great job!. I have a w211 and there is a creaking sound coming from the left side of the car. In your opinion, is this sound coming from the anti roll bar bushings when they rub against their holding brackets?. If so, would it be good to grease them?. I don't have a lift, but I have jack and jack stands. Do you recommend that this job is performed using a lift?.

      Thank you for your feedback!
      If the stabilizer bushings are worn out, there may be an unwanted sound like a squeak, but in order to get rid of it the lubricant in this case does not help, you should replace the rubber bushings with new ones. Best regards, Autodoc!

    How can I know my anti roll bar link need to be replace ?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the feedback! The anti roll bar link itself is practically free of wear, however, if the car becomes being heavily heeling and stalling during maneuvers, then the deformed anti roll bar link may be the cause. Best Regards, Autodoc
