Your wife is a trooper! Kudos to her for being the critical Rt50 bridge tender on her shift! When I retired years ago my "dream job" was to be the guy that opens and closes the Burlington-Bristol Bridge (NJ) on the night shift, or maybe the Rancocas Creek bridge in Delanco, or even the railroad bridge from Pennsauken, NJ to Philadelphia. But now I couldn't deal with being "on call" 24 / 7. I used to vacation in OCMD for many years.
I've been in a flood there 2 summers ago in june...and it damaged my car...near inlet u had never been in a flood before my splash guard had to be cut...it was terrible...
Some of the vehicles are very conscientious about driving through and not pushing water, but some are not. Slow down and stop pushing water into people and homes.
A lot of people don't realize what they're doing. I lived a lot of years on Somerset Street and sometimes driving through it (slowly) was unavoidable, but it inevitably causes a lot of salt damage to vehicles.
@@DanielKestersCoast I sometimes think people just don't care and are only wanting to get where they want to go. I know about salt damage, we live in Cambridge, MD. Coastal flooding affects us quite a bit up here. We have the same problem with the water coming up through the drains and with all the little waterways too. If someone is following my husband through standing water, they get angry because he goes slow. But I'd rather go slow, than pushing all that water into someones yard, house, or up under our car. Stay safe and glad to see you and your wife slogging through together. lol

It's long stretches of boredom punctuated by intense bursts of chaos.
I was down there when this flooded when we took our Assateague boat tour

Say no to offshore wind
She needs water taxi!!
Kester's getting his clipboard out. More to come apparently. Did anyone tell him it's autumn in Ocean City, Md?
I'm half decent at bs'ing on the fly but I don't want to use my brainpower to remember every performing artist - hence the clipboard. LOL.
@@DanielKestersCoast A joy. You know music; love my Bruno Mars
@@DanielKestersCoastDon't forget to have a good time 😊
Another wife needs to know the affects of salt water on the car
Wife is booking down the street
That’s what happens when you build near the ocean
A lot of people do it because 70% of the planet is water.

As you can see at 5:19, wife does everything
Never liked you on the rocks in the first place
I like to live "a little" dangerously.
@@DanielKestersCoast Seems 3:15 slippery; I go to the casino. I lose money, go home and watch Maryland's favorite vacation channel
