Fun Fact: There were rumors going around that Illumination was gonna make a Zelda movie adaptation after the box-office success of the Mario Movie. But the CEO Chris Meledandri shut down all the rumors by saying "I don't know where that came from." 😂

Love this, Honestly I feel a sequel to the Mario movie, is obvious. But I believe Zelda and/or Link will be the next one
Seeing as Zelda is the other OG series that spans multiple games fans look forward to it's definitely the no brainer.

A Legend of Zelda movie? I can 100% see that, since Legend of Zelda is another recognizable Nintendo property like Mario, and would do pretty well at the box office.
But I'm still going to back up Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong with this one. Super Mario 2, Luigi's Mansion, and DK Movie all the way!
A Donkey Kong Country movie sounds pretty cool. It doesn't have to be one or the other. A Mario sequel also sounds cool.

Did you know in March they announced Detective Pikachu was getting a sequel. It's in the works right now, sounds like they have Ryan Reynolds coming back
Once again, the voices fit the characters. I'd actually like to commend you for making Pikachu's voice sound something like a cross between Ash Ketchum and Digimon's Tai.
In fact, we should make animated collab videos of your "Nintendo character comments" series. I know I'd watch those.
Sonic in the typical "fake nose and glasses" to get in with the Nintendo characters does feel in character, despite the post-Dreamcast days.
If Samus, Tom Nook, Fox, and Kirby are in that board room, then I hope that's your way of saying how fans think all bets are off. Granted, I would feel the same way if a similar quality was given to all of Nintendo's franchises, so I may come off as a hypocrite.
That twist ending with Link getting the deal, being a reference to the "rumor" that Illumination is making a Zelda movie next? Priceless.

Nintendo cinematic universe in a nutshell
Why does Mario always have to be portrayed as a narcissist? He's canonically a fun and nice person.
Well Mario was created as a self-insert character so it says a lot about people who see him that way, since many people are quite selfish and mean spirited to those around them. However, I do think it extends to the questionable things you can do in a Mario game. Keep in mind, you the player makes those choices Ex: Ditching Yoshi in a ditch or throwing a baby penguin off a cliff
Some other things would also be theories, like those from Game Theory, that push this idea based off the history of the character and other small moment interpreted that way. Despite this, Mario, in canon, is a great guy
He's on top, it's just easy to imagine it going to his head.

I would like movies on all of these characters. I wished that Nintendo dubbed the Animal Crossing movie that Japan did in English. I saw it in subbed, but wished it was in English and other languages so more people would know about it. And with another Detective Pikachu coming, they might want to do a movie based on that game in the future. And I think there are possible plans for a DK movie, maybe a Luigi’s Mansion. Both Charlie and Seth expressed interests in those.
I’m all for Pit. If Nintendo can’t give give us another kid Icarus game then we need a movie.

The next movie will be Zelda as there's a rumor that Nintendo and Illumination are already close to another deal with a Legend of Zelda movie
I been wanting a Zelda movie a long time like that fake Zelda trailer when I was kid it still hurts to this day
But to be honest a Zelda movie would be really awesome it has awesome stories it's not always Link has to save Zelda all the time every Zelda games are different so there are more possibilities or maybe make a story that has nothing to do with games but make a new story like they did in the Mario movie
The only thing I'm worried is if illumination makes the Zelda movie because unlike Mario is kid friendly movie Zelda is for more mature audience how deep the story and how dark it can be and illumination makes more kid friendly movies but that's my opinion I still love to see a Zelda movie so much

I made a prediction after the first Sonic movie. Sense that mushroom planet was clearly just the Mushroom Kingdom I was not surprised when the Mario movie came. Cause my prediction was that over the next couple years we'd get movies for Mario, Link, Kirby and some others. All to build up to the big event that will be the Smash Bros Movie (like Endgame but with more Nintendo characters). I'm tellin ya it's gonna happen.

I'm sure they'd make Wario something of a fun devious prankster with a charming and silly side to him outside of greed, and even Waluigi become something of an envious and snarky anti-villain who mostly cares for Wario.
To be honest, I wish I rather see a 4th Mario series since the 90s after Super Mario World, we haven't got a Charles Martinet voice as well as blonde Princess Peach.
