The coolest campsite... Some years ago we camped along the California coast north of Jenner as I recollect. We stays at this little old run down Rv park which was perched atop an ocean side cliff. The view was !AMAZING! They put us in a space right on the edge of that cliff. Talk about memorable! The old man & woman who had created the park decades and decades and decades ago had passed and their daughter had inherited the place and was intent on returning the park to its former glory. I wonder how she is getting along? We should plan a return trip there. !
These are the roads up here so much fun to drive for me relaxing even thank you so very much for sharing I came across while doing some research for our trip to Alaska
Roads like that is why I want a travel trailer so you can get out to places like that and leave your trailer back at camp. Another great one guys. Oh, (Sandwich)
Right on so true! We wouldn't be able to do a bunch of the stuff we do without parking the trailer in the middle of it all then going exploring. And bingo of course we had another sandwich lol!! Thanks for watching. 😀
Always remember to NEVER use your batteries alone to operate the slide outs. Either be plugged in to the tow vehicle with the engine running. Or be plugged into the shore power. Using the batteries only is not good for the batteries or the slide out electric motors.
Oh yea 100% if you can get out there you will not be disappointed. Absolutely beautiful country and we gotta go back because there is still so much we had to miss out on. We couldn't get enough of the rocky Oregon beaches. We miss them so much! Thank you for watching!! 😍
Love the vid. Did you guys have any issues pulling that travel trailer with that truck? I just purchased a 33foot trailer and plan to pull it with a ford f150 with tow package. Online says i should be able to pull around 1200lbs and the trailer is 6700 dry. Thanks in advance .
Thanks! We did not have any issues pulling with the tundra. Our max tow was around 8500 I believe. We were usually around 6k7k lbs. We have a cat scale video where we go over it in more detail. 1200lbs towing for a f150 does not seem right, way too low. Maybe you mean 12000 but that seems too high. I'd refer to your manual and find your specific model, engine, chasis etc it will tell you exactly.
I miss the old days, when people visited , enjoied, and left. Back when discoveries were NOT broadcast to every Tom Dick and Harry out there. When travelers didnt pimp every treasure they came across. FYI... Southern Oregon has a huge homeless problem. And a meth epidemic. We are smothered with the Jonny- come- latelys that are pouring in from California, thinking they have found paradise, only to proceed to Californicate our Oregon. Our polite, courtious locals are being disrespected on our roads. And our lands are being left dirty and disrespected by these heathens. I miss the Oregon that we locals took care of. Needless to say.... People who want to finance their travels by disclosing every pristine spot that they come across..... Are not people that I can admire.
