Hello, we just bought the same rig as yours and appreciate the tip from your Tx trip re switching from city to tank water. Hope all worked out with the axle. Scenery is beautiful and we’re looking forward to more tips on full timing in an Open Range.
Hey cool we love our Open Range!! The perfect trailer for us. Hope yall have the best times in yours and thanks for watching. Hopefully we have more tips here and there in the future!
Gosh that's a hard call. With state parks we feel like you have more space and freedom but at a private park there are full hookups and pull through sites which is all around easier. Some state parks do have pull throughs and full hookups but it is more rare. When we started out our first site was a back in LOL. But we mostly stayed private and did a few pull throughs after that til we felt confident moving a lot with the rv. Then we mostly did back in because they are cheaper. Sometimes the private park hosts will help you get backed in too which is nice. State parks you are going to mostly be on your own with everything. We say pick a nice highly rated more spread out private rv park til you get comfortable with your RV. We used campendium and google for reviews and also checked out Google and park website for pics of how tight the spaces were. Hope that helps!
I love the happy camper, Hat. Where can I get one? thanks, great video

State Park or Private? Which one would you think is better for beginners with a 30 ft travel trailer? Great job of showing real life RVing!
