His presence make an impact in the team not only scoring goals. The problem with our team this season is balance issues. Van Dijk, he's not the best player, but his injuries imbalance all the team.

Truly heartbreaking to see Gini leave man💔 Easily had another 3-4 years left in him. Gave his all every single time he wore the badge. An absolute tireless engine with incredible ball retention ability and an excellent dribbler. Didn't care about the G/As, just the badge. Really disappointing how he was scapegoated for losses this season. Will really miss the player but more than that Gini, the person. Selfless, humble and always smiling. A Liverpool legend. This hurts but it might just be a step towards further evolution under Jurgen. Constant Evolution is the key to success in football.
Gini was special. He was always calm and composed. He might not have the most attractive G/A ratio for a midfielder but he was always there for us in the toughest of times and the easy good times! He has always been reliable and effective and he always gave his all. We will miss him and remember him for every great moment he has shared with us. What a special player! A legend!
