It's kind of killing me people walking by and not recognizing they are seeing one of Nashville's - hell - one of the country's best guitar players in J.D. Simo and a great up and comer and very fine guitarist in McKinley James (and the rhythm section killer as well) --- ah, to live in Nashville and happen by the Eastside Bowl. Thanks for posting!
Subverted expectations. 😂 I was expecting to see McKinley handling vocals and JD taking the solos… Not that they’re not both capable of either role, but JD is known as a player, and McKinley has one of the best vocal styles I’ve heard for 50s rockabilly blues.
Go 'head, McKinley!
