    Ben, the rear window function moves up and down. The button is on the driver side top beside the interior light. Thanks for the video.

    I have almost an identical build currently sitting on a rail car waiting for delivery. My dealership is sending mixed signal about my suspension. I ordered the SR5 TRD offroad premium package with mine so I planned on lifting it but the parts dept are saying I have a load leveling height control suspension with a compressor after running my vin so I can’t lift it but sales and service don’t see anything on my build sheet except “coil multi-link rear suspension”. Any knowledge of the TRD offroads having the air suspension?

    Don’t understand why the got rid of the chargers for the back in the SR5. The F150 XLT has them

    I have this exact same vehicle surprisingly the tires did well in mud and rain very soft ride though even mushy. Swapped the tires for some duratracs look so much better ride changed completely though. Gas mileage suffered immediately, guess I have a heavy foot i avg 16.5 mpg regardless of how I drive. It does have tons of power but there are little things that drive me nuts. Radio is a serious pain in the ass to use. The on/off nob is tiny and god forbid if you don't load your profile in it because you get an annoying pop every time you start the truck. Over all i do like it, seats are not as comfy as my 2020 tundra and the interior is smaller. Tows well! I do get a lot of compliments on it.

    Towing is up to 12,000 lbs for the new Tundras, not 10,000 as you stated. Your test drive model SR5 is 11,160 as equipped. Great videos, thanks!

    Lot of complaints on the price but I do not know what people are expecting or what trims they want. I bought the 1794 edition no dealer markup. I priced a Ford Tremor and tried to keep it as similar as I could with Lester and other options I wanted. The price was $7000 more for the Ford with a $6000 dollar dealer markup on top of that. All manufacturers have increased prices across the board. It is just not Toyota.

  • @Wicked_Runs

    Overall the new Tundra has grown on me. With that said, the nickle and dimming Toyota has done this GEN is upsetting. $50,000 and no usb or power ports in the backseats? Also intentionally neutering the SR's engine giving it worse HP and Torque even though its the same exact engine as the more expensive trims.

    • @porschematt991
      @porschematt991 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agreed. F-150 STX has rear USB's so Toyota should be embarrassed they don't include that on this trim level.

  • @chaokhang4497

    I like it but that turbo gonna blow in the feature and gonna coast a lot of money. They should have something that turn off the turbo when not using ot.

    • @jameskelly4494
      @jameskelly4494 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eco mode shuts down most of the turbo fun. Also these are not the turbos of the 70s, they do not blow up around 50000 miles. Had turbos in Audis and BMWs the last several years. Never had major problems just normal maintenance.

  • @lesley643
    @lesley643 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    For nearly $50K I would expect parking sensors, blind spot monitoring. I didn’t see any of that. Available as option but that jacks up the price further. So I think this may not be the one to buy. Look at a higher trim level and do the math.

    • @lawrenceterrell8471
      @lawrenceterrell8471 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You gotta keep in mind Ben said this vehicle is a test drive which would be different from the vehicle sold to the public

    • @lawrenceterrell8471
      @lawrenceterrell8471 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do understand where you coming I wish the the speedometer was digital but again I gotta keep in mind what Ben said this is a test drive model so I assume and hope the vehicle that is sold to the public has all those feature for a vehicle with a total MSRP of $50,000

    • @lesley643
      @lesley643 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lawrenceterrell8471 I forgot it was a test driver. I did look on the tundra website. That’s where the “option” comes from. However, Ben’s question was is this the one to buy so I assume the equipment level is pretty much defined as shown. Not for me. If I was buying, I’d be looking at least limited trim. It’s a big jump to platinum though.😊

    Huge fail by Toyota. Diesel will be around for another 40 to 50 years. They are very capable with diesel worldwide except here. How can Ram and GM produce quality smog legal 1500 diesel trucks? This truck is close to ugly. Huge miss!!
