UR #3: The Maddock Madstone Urinal is a Pure Classic Antique Pedestal Urinal of the Early 1900's

The Maddock Madstone was a urinal made in the Early 1900's. This particular one being review is an Earlier Version from the Early-Mid 1920's. During the Mid-Late 1920's, it would go through a couple more redesigns before American Standard bought them out and started using the Madstone line under "Standard", with a different look.
Most people know the Madstone as a line of Pedestal urinals under American Standard, but this model was first introduced under Maddock. Today, we take a fine look at this antique beauty and admire it for what it is, a classic novelty of it's time!

These are epic and fantastic! The "Standard" Madstones are just as legendary. It's a shame the entire segment of pedestal urinals just aren't made anymore.

Trenton Represent!!!
They built those right outside Trenton, NJ by the Hamilton Train station. I grew up near there and I've seen the original factory which still stands with Standard logos but sadly has been converted into a business park since American Standard consolidated their operations over to the Piscataway plants. If you ever find it, you can still see the old chimney where the kilns were that has Maddock spelled out in the bricks.

Females could also use it as a urinal and still do today in Mexico. Better suited than the Standard Sanistand made in the late 1950's for them.
