Bit of feedback for you. I really appreciate the honesty of that review. You essentially spoke to the limitations of the device and that gives me confidence that you understand your product. I am a dedicated blade shaver and nothing but nothing is that good. That said, I was after something as a general shaver and for quick touch-ups and your review gave me the confidence to buy your product because I feel I'm not going to get too many rude surprises.
Any updates? I'm looking into buying the Beardscape V2 + Zero Blade 👀
@@triv4555 Six months on, overall, I can say I like it. That said, I stand by my comments regarding shaving with a blade. As a body shaver the Brio is an amazing tool and I wouldn't be without it. If you use it without a guard it will cut you if you push too hard but that's the same for all of these shavers because the cutting mechanisms are very similar. My only other comment is that I wish it had a safety for the power on - I don't travel myself with it but it could be an issue for some.

I'm late to the party! Gonna order one this weekend! Just been doing recon on the supposed top 5! Liking what I've seen so far when it comes to the Beardscape. Blackout looks better too. Hope it arrives this up coming week. My Birthday is Friday the 11th. Wanna touch my beard up myself for the first time since start of October 2021. So stoked. Thanks again. Stay healthy.

I am looking to replace my philips norelco 9000 shaver. The super close shave is exactly what I want I shave off all my facial hair. Should I get the brio or stick with philips?

Any idea on if (and when) your products can be ordered and shipped to Germany? Zero blade sounds like a way to shave my complete head more comfortable than with a blade - and with less risk of cutting myself 😅

Not to take away from brio but have you ever tried a skull shaver type product ? They are specifically designed for your head. I’ve always wondered how good they are. Soon I’ll be using one thanks to my receding hairline 😄
Will the zero blade fit on the Axis and ivy or is it only for the beardscape ??
The Zero blade only fits the Beardscape. The Axis's ceramic blade is set a bit lower (.5mm) than the ceramic blade on the Beardscape - so it's not too far off from the (.2mm) zero blade.
Is the zero the same length as you would get on a 00000 blade on clippers
YES, looks like 00000 is also at .2 mm

Yes, Zero blade is compatible on all Beardscape trimmers

how should you store a trimmer when not using it?
Drawer or shelf is fine. We don't recommend storing on the charger. You can use the charging base, but leave it unplugged
Just got mine today and was disappointed with the quality control. On one side of the trimmer head the metal blades were sticking out beyond the the backing piece of metal and on the other side they were quite drastically recessed from the backing piece. I've tried adjusting it to where I think it should be, but because of the state it was in when I received it I honestly don't know what it should look like when properly adjusted. I proceeded to carefully try it out and almost immediately cut myself with it, so unfortunately it hasn't left me with much confidence

My experience with the Beardscape has been absolutely woeful, it causes ridiculous amounts of irritation and it leaves so many hairs behind, with or without the zero blade.. same issues.
I was using a Phillips prior, it gave me a far closer cut and never experienced irritation, tried many different brands over the past 20 years, the brio is by far the least comfortable and leaves my skin sore and inflamed. Not a great product for sensitive skin at all.
