"And the most disturbing thing I observed throughout this whole report was how the DM didn't even give the kid a saving throw before his character was hurtled into oblivion."
DM: You just got wiped out.
PC: ok.
@@realce666 Wait I thought when your character dies your supposed to be lead out by a bunch of people in black cloaks? Not just be kinda disappointed and make a new sheet.
Brutal - walk down a corridor, step through a door & no longer exist .. you are completely wiped out & no saving throw.
And the kids looks way younger than him too 😂
Dude used a ring of wishes to open a door? WTF... that was the lamest game of dungeons and dragons that I have ever seen.
... and he died with another wish still on the ring.
Silly child..... wish rings are the precious precious.😆 And remember... your first wish should always be 'if I die everyone in the group follows me'....lol. That way someone else goes through the doors first. 🙃
GIGACHAD KID JUST WASTING WISHES CAUSE HE AIN'T CARE
Thank God we didn't get scared off. The movie Mazes & Monsters just made me want to play it more.
That was actually a halfway decent report.
Especially with that tinal statement, about it just being good fun and it's not about winning and warning about character bleed, all stuff we still emphasize today.
That kid wasted a wish to open a door?! What a LOSER!
That was about 40 years ago. The kid is probably in Congress now.🤨
.. and still making poor decisions, it seems.
Ironic That They Called Themselves Bad, Yeah Bad At Their Jobs Along With The Negative Intelligence/Wisdom Modifiers.
An interesting throwback to the news coverage during the great 80's "Satanic Panic"
What level is this party to be walking around with a Ring of TWO Wishes?!
And who wastes a wish to OPEN A DOOR????
Matthew Perry’s step dad! Man I miss the ’80s and old D&D…
The main differences between this and religion are that churches don't use dice, and rpg's don't expect you to believe anything they tell you is real. Also, you're less likely to get molested at a game.
Both fairy tales were derived from drug party raves of nature worshiping savages of how they would often use broomsticks to anally insert Jimson weed to hallucinate,
2:13 - Jesus that DM doesn't give the poor kid any chance!
1:30 This kid has a wish spell and uses it to OPEN A DOOR? One of the most powerful spells in the game and he opens a door. Dream bigger, kid.
Terrible DM
YO THAT DIRT WIZARD WITH THE OZZY SHIRT / MULLET - SO SICK
Most sane report on DnD I've seen from the 80s, also cool to see how people played the game back then, seeing as this was 16 years before I was even born.
I feel like its hard to really put a negative spin on it when you actually go and see its just a bunch of nerds rolling dice.
Ron Burgundy, is that you?
Barbershops were invented in 1986.
People in 1985.
"Slenderman" murders in Wisconsin of how teenagers are influenced of how my mother used to say: "You let Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World" ruin your mind".
Sam Smith of High School & Krazy Karnok of at University went nuts so a bookstore proprietor Philip is racist of how his uncle lost his hand during WWII Pacific if one remembers Vicent Chin of Detroit.
Stranger things got it just right
Read "Dungeon Master: Disappearance of James Dallas Egbert III" by Deere
"Dungeon Master" by Deere about James Dallas Egbert III
LMAO!
Thinking about Stranger Things now.
Well, some of that was cringy as all get out. :)
I thought this about BADD. I was trying to find a video about the group for a friend of mine who wasn't aware of all the stuff that went down back then.
Dwarven Sword Master ?? I dont think that was a thing.
Ironically, that's when the game was good. Woke garbage today, they ruined themselves.
ruined? idk...its certainly evolving. youtube is a good platform for showcasing games now (critical role - etc)
Different game these days. 5e is just different, not bad just different. The TSR version of the game versus WoTC were on different paths
TSR was bought out by Wizards of the Coast, which was later bought out by Hasbro.
They're the corporate stooges responsible for neutering Dungeons & Dragons.
A trademark is just a trademark though, and there are hundreds of quality Roleplaying Games to choose from now, many of which are completely free to play.
