Even though I know of everything you’ve discussed this was still extremely helpful to know I will be able to tell my hairdresser exactly what I want. I even took notes that I will be now bringing with pictures. You are the best!
For the past 10 plus years, not one hair stylest or salon has done(colored mostly but sometimes cut) my hair the way I asked. I've explained every way I know how, brought pics of exactly what I wanted with the model having nearly identical hair as mine, (Straight, fine and medium thickness) and yet they CANNOT GET IT RIGHT. Prior to that I could walk in any salon and they all did what I asked. Brown lowlights with blonde highlights that balance each other out. Instead, now I either get a dark "shadow root" and almost all bleach blonde (which I cannot do because of my warm skin tone) OR they go the opposite and have me looking like Elvira mistress of the dark. WHAT GIVES?????? Everyone around me will be getting exactly what they asked for while the stylist is working on mine and it NEVER turns out right. NEVER. It's almost as if they have all have a collective Hive Mind that when it sees me coming, it tells them to do anything except what I want. And it's not like I ask for anything complicated. Dark lowlights or dark base with fine weave blonde highlights that keep the dark from being too pronounced. I can't wear my hair all dark or all light it has to have some of both and pictures of this are ALL OVER FRIKING GOOGLE IMAGES, yet they either do mine ALL BLONDE or ALL DARK. WHAT IS WRONG HERE? I've gone to nearly every salon in my area and they just will not do what I ask. Somewhere around 2012 or so it seems they stopped being able to communicate with me and do what I ask, yet they seem to do what others ask around me. This is just another level BIZARRE. ALmost seems as though I'm being persecuted by complete strangers.
I have a love/hate relationship with pictures 😂 but they are really helpful! Haircuts really aren’t my favorite so thank goodness for my educators who can help me with them! Which it’s going to be so weird when I’m done in May and leave school 🙈 but srsly love all your videos girl 💕 so happy for how far you’ve come so far!!
Hello Thank you for making this video; I found it extremely helpful. - I haven't gotten a haircut in the past 4 years and I'm getting my hair cut and styled in a couple of days and I was wondering how difficult you think a specific style would be to do for a hairdresser and if there's anything I should know prior to getting it. I'm going based off a character named "Beth Harmon" from a Netflix series called "The Queens Gambit." She has many different hair styles over the series and since I can't send you an image directly, here's a link instead to the Wikipedia page on her which uses the reference photo I'm referring to in style: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beth_Harmon I'm not sure if this matters, but my hair is currently very thick and long. - I understand that you may not respond to my comment at all or before my appointment, if not, no worries. Thank you again for this video. (Sorry for the long comment)

Me too girl! Don’t worry about leaving in May you got this! But thank you love
I can’t stand getting my hair thinned out and my hair is super super thick but I literally don’t let anyone texturize my hair
Seeeee!!! So many people have so many preferences!
My mom used to get my hair thinned since I was about 6 and it took forever to grow out and I never went back.
I learned so much. Thank you!
Everything isn't a question. Just talk normal. 💁♀️🤦♀️
Yesss I missed your face. Honestly though, this is so helpful.... half the time I just show her a picture of what I want 😅
Miss you too!!!
Hey. I found this video to be very helpful
Me too.
:)
I have a question tho, why do barbers cut my hair shorter than just the tips when I ask only to cut the tips?
I feel like barbers are a little different than hairdressers. Barbers always tend to cut more hair! I wish i could tell you why though
@@DanielleRounds awh :/ , that’s okay
your intro is from the 1960s movie Alfie

I'm not sure if this matters, but my hair is currently very thick and long.

Edit: it's probably worth mentioning that I'm not getting it dyed.
I'm quite literally just having my hair cut and styled.
