    I absolutely love my 2003 Lesabre! I bought it four years ago and it only had 71,000 miles then. As of now it has 93,000 on the odometer. The way it drives is amazing, I wouldn't trade if for anything!

      @@vacuumfreak95 Mine has a major oil leak and various electrical issues. Bought it at 121k and I've only put 3k on it so far. Oil leak developed 2 months after I bought it. Bought a green 99 lesabre with 100k miles on it for $1800 3 months ago, unfortunately the previous owner didn't take the best car of her and used the car for short trips around town. I've had to replace the following, front brake pad and rotors, master brake cylinder, front sway bar end links (these are common to rust out), valve cover gaskets (another common issue), spark plugs, tires and I put a new stereo, speakers, and sub in it as the factory radio's cassette refused to work. Overall I have about $4000 into her but damn is it a nice car. I took it on a road trip to Montana and was consistently getting 27-30mpg after running a can of Berryman's B12 chemtool and it was super comfy.

    Just picked up my LeSabre Limited two weeks ago.. its an '03 with about 100k miles. Had to take it back to the dealership after two days - after a long diagnostic period (and several new parts - the computer appears to have been the culprit of the issues that i was experiencing), its back on the road (hopefully for another 100k)... Not many people of my generation feel cool cruising down the street in a big boat, pumping a Paul Simon cassette tape, but I do.. definitely the car for me.

    My sister has the exact, same car, including the great sky color, with only 65K Miles. We took a 500 mile trip from Seattle to British Columbia and I was blown away by what a fabulous car this “old dog” was. I was totally, totally impressed. Like the reviewer himself says, it felt like a new car. It was spacious, quiet, smooth riding with plenty of power and got great gas mileage. I told my sister, “Sis, never, ever even think of selling this car!” I even came away with new respect for Detroit. As much as I love my ‘97 Camry XLE, this LeSabre is a much better car. My Camry is good for me alone, but for two people on any kind of trip, the 2003 LeSsbre is far, far superior. It totally out classes my Camry. I know this is extreme, but I actually wonder if you can find a better car.

    • @davidbouffard522

      You can find a better car. Your Camry. My '07 Camry is a better car than my recently purchased '01 Buick, which replaces my '99 Buick. The only reason I replaced the '99 was because it was ruined by a hit and run driver running a red light. Buicks are not bad. Toyotas are always better.

    I Have a 2002 Buick Lesabre, I put 150000 miles on it. It is still in very good condition, however you must keep up with maintenance constantly, or it will fall apart. The 3800 engine is rated in the top 10 best engines of all time, but they do leak oil and antifreeze. The maintenance must include gaskets which could be very costly. But then again a Buick is not a cheap car.

    on my 2003 Buick Lesabre custom I want to drain and flush then refill the cooling system with Dexcool and distilled water. now on my other cars even with bleeder screws I do not like to open those little screws that can easily snap off I done that been there, so can I burp the air out without touching those little hard to get at bleeder screws , can I squeeze the top and bottom radiator hoses to get the air out then run the engine recheck the fluid level and add to it

    • @cjsteele9594
      @cjsteele9594 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dexcool will kill your car, Thats why they call it "Deathcool"

    • @THEFlea1991
      @THEFlea1991 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dexcool will kill your car IF you don’t change it on time. Change it at or ahead of schedule and it will last forever. Got my 04 LeSabre and it had some coolant sludge happening around the cap and in the reservoir. Replaced coolant, drove for few thousand miles, changed again. Then changed on the schedule and I was amazed at how clean the system was.
      To OP: I did the squeezing of hoses trick for the first change, I put the front up on ramps to raise the cap above the engine. It took longer than the bleed screw but it did purge the air from the system. I tried the bleeder screw the next time and it was much more efficient. The only thing I don’t care for is the factory set threshold for fan engagement, these cars will allow temps to rise to the 218ish mark before kicking on fans
