If you fail or make a mistake then you needed to know that.

yes but you obviously have to worry because if you don't worry who will? its life c'mon guys.. thats why there is anxiety and depression hitting people right in the face for no reason they did nothing wrong. God is testing us and if we are at a state right now that is really difficult, god gave that to test us because god knows that we will get passed the situation we are going through. god wouldn't give us these hard situations if he didn't know that we couldn't succeed.

Alan Watts has this strange way of making me feel horribly lost in the universe and at the very same time found, like he has the meaning of life completely determined.

Firstly. I love Alan Watts, when I'm on the mood I listen to it and lay on my bed on some sort of a "trip". Sometimes I even put it on a kind of ambiental sound. His speeches and quotes definitely changed my life. Here's why:
So, I'm 17 and I have a way of thinking very similiar to what Alan Watts says on his speeches, that are present on TH-cam.
Sometimes he helps me find myself too, because even though I kind of acquired my way of thinking by myself, being surrounded by the system and people that aren't like me could probably influentiate me to be just another one. Please, don't get me wrong, I don't want to offend anyone, I respect everyone and their opinion, but fuck, I would find or think that I was alone if there was no Alan Watts.
My native language isn't English, but even in my native language there are somethings that I can't describe. Alan watts sometimes transforms my thoughts into words.
I find myself fascinated by the fact that people spend so much time watching bs on television, seeing celebrities lives, following them then again on smartphones, just why? I can't idolize the supposed "celebrities", I honestly couldn't care less about what the fuck they are doing, much less run like a bitch or pay for an autograph or something like that. I mean, I think that everyone should see some Alan Watts's videos, and not the everyday shit that steals their time.
Afterlife? I have no idea. I believe, yes. But while I'm here... I'm going to enjoy this trip, and not waste it, come on people wake up. Like, why stare at a screen 24 a day? People and especially my generation are completely blinded and this shit scares me.
    Just some digress, Peace :)

Your voice vibrates through your skill as well as your mouth causing a different pitch compared to what others hear. That's why almost everybody says they hate their own voice, the same as how you see yourself compared to how others see you. Self perception. Maybe you have an awesome voice and maybe not.

Mr. Nobody was such a good movie. I just watched the extended edition yesterday and it felt as if someone had made a movie specifically for me, addressing my own worries and fears. Just for me. My late 20s are turning into a philosophical awakening for me personally. I'm about to turn 30 this year and the last 2-3 years have been full of discovering Alan Watts, free-will, and similar concepts. I'm so glad I learned it, as it has definitely impacted me and the way I look back at my life in my early 20s and teenage years.

SillyBehavior Yes ... there is is only now and it keeps moving to now and now and now. Being human and living on a planet and having to function thereon ... we have constructed time ... past and future. Remembering things that were now NOW and calling that the past. Planning things now for a later NOW is called the future. When one works and has to show up at 9am, then we function in time and space as need be. You are so right though ... NOW is where life is always.

Alan Watts, you were (and through you're recorded work, still are) a gleaming and stellar example of the embodiment of something so sacred, so rare, and so absolutely fundamental to every facet of life, especially the human race. The depth and vastness of your wisdom, and especially the ease at with which you communicate it serves as irrefutable evidence to me that we indeed do have a creator and this entire reality operates by a level of intelligent design that to me is inconceivable. You never fail to help guide me to whatever answer I currently seek and you manage to leave me in awe every single time! The chances of possessing such an extraordinary gift that fundamentally applies to every single person who exists, has ever existed, and will ever exist, transcends not only the odds of probability but also the physical world itself. Therefore, it must be from another place, which would have to be the non physical realm. I can't help but feel like all the truly important ingredients of life that represent things like inclusion and timelessness and compassion do as well (i.e. Love, Truth, and Joy). Thank you so much for existing and sticking with what came natural to you, and thank you to the divine intelligence that graced us with your presence. I can't fathom a better example of unconditional love from what assuredly must be an unconditionally loving creator. ❤️

When I listen to this, to Alan Watts, the fear subsides, and I feel I can keep walking. All choices are scary, but it's okay, there isn't a right one, just those I didn't pick.

Even now, as we sit and watch the wisdom of those who came before to better orient our own search for truth, we are an integral part of all around us. What the trees breath out we breath in what insights we manifest out of the collective maelstrom we feed back So that another might fish them out. Unity solves most problems.
Iv always liked the ‘Morality of the hand’ conceptualization: “Look at your hand, did anyone ever tell you not to hate, harm or discriminate against your little finger simply because it is the least among them? Does morality work like this? Or did you need no tutelage, no rules, no moral principles to avoid cutting it off? Because anything you feel is a part of you transcends these concepts.”

    • @MaytaneVideos
      @MaytaneVideos 9 ปีที่แล้ว

+Eve Lister Why do you think that? A mistake can be quantifiably defined, as an action which was inteded to fulfill its purpose, yet it didn't. Of course, you might say that in the larger picture, this mistake is to lead you somewhere else, where you could learn more and experience what was meant to be achieved.
The truth is always subjected to the point of view, don't you think? : )

mlongpre100 Hitler is my dude. He makes people became aware that in order to make peace and to never experience let the tragedy that they've experience happen again. They've created the united nation and other peace laws where ones were to go against. Will have to face the world's military. Which avoid a nation to nation conflicts today. atm

    • @Qopa

Jeremy Francis internally? lmao. How many years has it been since man kind was born? millions. And how many in accordance to years and time period has any of the civilization create a peace law between each other? 2 to 8 different country between 1000- 1900 century. Then eventually, World war happens, and bam, killing, greed, treating world conflicts as a war, game and opportunity to be placed in their history as being the best land conqueror of the century. Check it out man, during WW1 they had a sport competition in the olympics against other competing nations, where war was ceased. While at the same time, christmas was the only time where war was also ceased to celebrate holidays. *It's not possible to stay, or let alone doing nothing and wishing for a miracle or a coincidence to occurs through non human's action* Humans are responsible for themselves, war has lead us humans to the society of globalization that we all have today. And that's thanks to Hitler. While North korea, China, Iraq, Syria, Cuba and some others that are still against the idea of world peace and globalization.

Applied Alan Watts since I was 20. I am 35 years old and I can definitely say that this does not work.
The music is beautiful but what is being said here isn't the truth. Our choices, our decisions and our actions always come with consequences. Its an unavoidable truth of life like 1+1=2.
The evil you do is really easy but the problem is, it comes back to you, your loved ones and future generations one way or the other. The good that you do is hard but the consolation is, it comes back to you, your loved one's and future generations one way or the other.
This is why your choices and decisions constantly matter. You decide the direction which you will take by your choices. Hating and avoiding one thing (preferably evil) and loving and going for the other (preferably good).
My aunt gave me some great advice. It was practical. It didn't have any fancy music connected to it --
Happiness is a direct result of making good decisions and choices.
Be careful people. There is a lot of lies on the internet.

To truly understand ourselves we need to transcend the most basic ways we think about reality. We need to see reality as it IS and not how we think about it, BUT that is only a paradoxical loop because our experience of reality IS determined by how we think about it and likewise, what we experience, the ONE experience is fundamental to create our thoughts.
they are the same thing yet we split them up, jumble the experience into judgements, numbers and measurements through thinking and get a false created view of reality, that one beam of light then gets fragmented by the prism of the mind.
