Allan, I am truly grateful for your always kind words, fun engagement and support, thank you. I was pretty excited to see the Twin Otter 3 times in the same day! Best...Corrie
Thanks Jim, I am truly grateful for your always kind words and support. I love the early morning shoots, it's my favourite time of the day. Best....Corrie
John, I am truly grateful for your always kind words and support, thank you. Yup, I have chicken legs....lol. My little chicken legs take me far and fast. Best...Corrie
Thanks for some great video, Corrie. And for braving the early morning weather, so that we can have a first class seat in the lounge. That plane coming in from the unusual direction also seemed to be turning while landing, which isn't too common in itself.
Early morning is guaranteed action at the harbour! As you could see, I almost missed the plane coming in from an unusual direction. I had never seen that before and it caught me off guard. Everyday is a new day to learn. I am truly grateful for your always kind words, engagement and support, thank you. Best...Corrie
This was a delightfully different video. Thank you for being up early enough to catch the start of the flying day. Watching 'AX taxi in was the first time i've noticed the water rudders being lowered. It's easy to see them being raised proor to take off in a few of your videos but not so often seeing them being lowered. Maybe i've not been observant enough. I love the fact that the Victoria-Seattle ferries fly the Canadian flag from the jack staff but have a stylised Union Jack on the superstructure. That has been practice with them since at least 2002.
Ian, you noticed this video was a little different, I appreciate you noticed. I was up at 6, put myself together, and out of the house at 7:15. It's a half hour walk(3K) to my first spot, I almost missed the first Twin taking off, I had to sprint my little chicken legs to make it as far as I did. My intention was my second spot, but it was 4 minutes away and I knew I'd never make it. The big boats are in the way a lot of the time. Ian, you notice the tiniest details. I've never noticed the water rudders being lowered either. I had to go back and watch in slow motion. Thanks for pointing out the cool details I miss. Did I ever tell you that you are my favourite anorak? I am sincerely grateful for your always kind words, knowledgable engagement and support, thank you. Best....Corrie
@@leftcoastcorriehard not to notice really given the intensity of the lights and how dark the video begins. So there is a reason for me being an anorak then, it's so that I can spot things that others miss..😂
Allan, I hadn't given it much thought, but yes, it is crazy how some paint schemes can change how a plane looks. The Kenmore Air Orca Otter looks really long because its mostly black. Best....Corrie
Ian, everyone's opinion counts. I agree with you, I love the creativity of Kenmore Air's livery. When I know a Kenmore Air seaplane will be coming soon, I think to myself.....Hmmm I wonder if this seaplane will be the non-standard livery? Kenmore Air has some very unique, west coast designs. Best....Corrie
twin otter is a beauty. awesome video my radial lady

1 long and 2 short horn blast is a bridge salute
Allan, you make me smile, thank you. 1 long blast and 2 short is a A bridge salute, makes sense to me. Best...Corrie

Allan, I know little about horn blasts, thanks for sharing. Best....Corrie
That's education for me too. I know nothing about maritime procedures.

crazy but some paint schemes like Kenmore to me make the plane look older then planes with bright colours of same vintage!!!

@@leftcoastcorriein my opinion (not that it counts for much) the Kenmore livery is tastefully understated.
