The movie I really like is Aladdin. It’s a 2019 American musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney. Aladdin was coming out on May 24th, 2019 (Aladdin was released on May 24th, 2019). Aladdin was filmed in the USA. It is filled with really cool special effects. Besides, the score is completely incredible. When I watch Aladdin, I want to watch it with subtitles. When you watch it dubbed, it loses some of the magic. There’s a big twist at the end of the Aladdin, but I won’t spoil it for you. In the end, the good guys win and the bad guys lose. "After" is my favorite romcom. It was released in 2019 and I'm looking forward to part 2 which will come out in 2020. The plot is simple but the characters' acting styles are natural and attractive. Moreover, the score is catchy, too. I love it!!
Have you ever seen Game of thrones, this is the TV show and has been a hit for a while, its core plot is the Kings and Queens trying to sit in the throne and at the end whoever manages to make it will get to rule over all the kingdoms. Anyways, it's extremely exciting and breath taking tv show but it's extremely for adults 18+, so it has to be away from children. My favorite movie is joker . It's a drama movie . Here the protagonist is Arthur fleck played by Joaquin Phoenix who is a versatile actor . The movie took place in Gotham city , where he lived with his mother in an old apartment building . They were suffering from poverty and were hoping help from Thomas Wayne . Arthur was a clown who was weak and was continuously beaten and and mistreat by the people . He had a believe that only poor and weak people suffer and the rich people don't care about them . So , he takes revenge by killing Thomas Wayne's workers and the people who had misused him .
Lately I've been watching 1899 series! As the premise is not simple, so It's hard to follow. However the plot keeps your attention. This series takes place in a ship. The director of the "Dark" series directed this series! Before I decided to watch this series, I thought It's a flop but It is not. Since I haven't finished this series therefore, I couldn't spoil it to you unfortunately! 😉 Please if anyone is seeing my comment, please tell me my mistakes

My name is Mikael and I am from Sweden and I am atcually planning of starting a TH-cam channel where I talk about movies, but I have always found it very difficult how to start when it comes to making movie reviews without making it to complicated. I am trying to read books and watch movies with english subtitles just to get more into the english language. This video was so good and you are such good speaker and your video was so informative. I can atcually write down my favorite movie here which is a horror movie "The Shining" Directed by Stanley Kubrick. The Shining is a horror movie from 1980, directed by Stanley Kubrick, starring Jack Nicholson and Shelly Duvall. The plot in this film is about a man called Jack Torrance who gets hired as the caretaker to take care of the Overlook Hotel for the winter. After he gets hired as the caretaker he moves in to the Overlook hotel with his wife and his son Danny. I personally don't like to watch movies dubbed because I think you can't really appreciate the acting of the actors/actresses and also, in their original idiom they sound much better, more natural; so, I always watch a movie or tv show with subtitles

My favorite type of movie is Romcom and drama, I like a good suspense too.Lately I've been watching Bollywood movies, they are really long around two and a half hours but I usually like them. I have two favorite TV shows "Friends " and " How I met your mother "💜 I think a lot of people have heard about the first one, so i want to write about the second one , because it's very underrated , at least in my country .maybe because it has been dubbed and that way lost its charm ? Either way for me it still the best series that I have ever watched in my life !!! the plot wasn't hard to follow but also were some twists which broke my heart . I had so many emotions and thoughts during watching HIMYM , so many times cried and smiled with the main characters .I insanely wanted to find out who was his wife ( the most interesting part ) so I constantly was on the edge of the seat . I'm not going to give away everything , You should check out this sitcom ,I bet the ending will blow your mind !!!

Thanks a lot for your video Vanessa! Your work is so useful to learners like me! Movies are dubbed in French and there are often two French dubbed versions: an "international" one (usually with voices from Québec) and another from France (*). Nevertheless, nowadays, TV channels give us the opportunity to choose between the original and the French versions, and to have subtitles or not. My preference is to watch the original version, for the exact same reason you mentioned. So yes, Miyazaki's animated fables are great in Japanese (actually, their French versions are quite good as well) (*) When some French is heard in an English speaking movie, it is replaced by another language like Italian in the French dubbed version.
How interesting to know that French is changed to another language in English movies because the purpose is to show a foreign language... Cool! Thanks for sharing. 😊

My favorite film recently is "Ho so trinh sat". It is a detective film. It was set in Hong Kong. It was a hit at 1994 and today still many people love it. It has star-studded cast. The plot is so interesting that it keeps my attention and i can easily follow it. But in my country, there is only dubbed version, and i hope one day i can find a website that upload it with subtitles so i can hear the real voice of the actors

I love the lord of ring. The plot, character and score, everything is so fantastic for me. Especially the most impressive thing is the companionship between the characters when they have to struggle with something horrible which seems like completely impossible to break through. In the end, they eventually catch a victory overcoming all difficulties, which is quite touching. And personally, fantasy is my favorite genre since it is likely to stimulate my imagination. Besides the lord of the ring was directed by Tolkin and l am big fan of his way of making the unique universe full of fresh ideas. The movie was a hit as soon as it came out. It made me feel like l was connected to people that love this movie.
Directed by a prominent Russian director Svetlana Baskova, the movie 'Green Elephant' (Зеленый Слоник) is set in a guardhouse somewhere in remote Russian countyside. The main characters of this movie two minor officers 'brother' (братишка) and 'madman' (поехавший) are locked in a crapmt guardhouse cell awaiting their punishment with no food or water. Passing long hours together on their own our heroes ask morale questions to each other and question the army's authority. The movie themes deal with injustice , violence in the army and honor of a true officer. Upon its original release the film was panned by both audience and critics , who obviously weren't prepared for such a mature and gritty military drama. Over the years the picture achieved a deserved cult status. Literally can't recommend this movie more.

Fringe is one of my favorite sci-fi shows! I don't remeber now where it takes place, but the show has some stuff that I really enjoy such as time traveling, paralel universes and some investigation, it reminds me X-Files a lot. The plot really got my attention, althougt I didn't enjoy the final episode as much as I wanted, mybe I was expectiong for something else to happen, but no regrets, it was an awesome show! I love the book "Me before You" I readed it a while ago, and I cried so much, probably because I was emotionally tired and sentimental, so it moved me lot ... It's a sad plot for sure, and there is a movie of this book, and I liked it, mainly because it stars one of my favorite actresses, Emilia Clarke. But in my personal opinion, the movie didn't catch the emotion of the book.

BTW, my favorite movie is Forrest Gump. I've seen it several times, and every time I do it, it gives me a thrill cuz it reminds me of "the good old days" as a child (when I first watched it). That's by far the best one! And yeah, I really admire Tom Hanks' performances (in all of the movies he acts)!

The Shining is a horror movie from 1980, directed by Stanley Kubrick, starring Jack Nicholson and Shelly Duvall. The plot in this film is about a man called Jack Torrance who gets hired as the caretaker to take care of the Overlook Hotel for the winter. I personally don't like to watch movies dubbed because I think you can't really appreciate the acting of the actors/actresses and also, in their original idiom they sound much better, more natural; so, I always watch a movie or tv show with subtitles
I really love this video, but I don't understand why she combined drama and suspense? Hitchcock shot thrillers and suspense plays an important role in thrillers, but it may not be in dramas. Speaking of drama, the last thing you think about is the Hitchcock movies.

My favorite type of movie is Romcom and drama, I like a good suspense too.Lately I've been watching Bollywood movies, they are really long around two and a half hours but I usually like them. In my opinian Padman and Toilet( both are Bollywood movies) hasn't a good premise but the plot is very good. I've watched On Netflix.

I think a lot of people have heard about the first one, so i want to write about the second one , because it's very underrated , at least in my country .maybe because it has been dubbed and that way lost its charm ? Either way for me it still the best series that I have ever watched in my life !!!
the plot wasn't hard to follow but also were some twists which broke my heart . I had so many emotions and thoughts during watching HIMYM , so many times cried and smiled with the main characters .I insanely wanted to find out who was his wife ( the most interesting part ) so I constantly was on the edge of the seat . I'm not going to give away everything , You should check out this sitcom ,I bet the ending will blow your mind !!!

Movies are dubbed in French and there are often two French dubbed versions: an "international" one (usually with voices from Québec) and another from France (*).
Nevertheless, nowadays, TV channels give us the opportunity to choose between the original and the French versions, and to have subtitles or not.
My preference is to watch the original version, for the exact same reason you mentioned. So yes, Miyazaki's animated fables are great in Japanese (actually, their French versions are quite good as well)
(*) When some French is heard in an English speaking movie, it is replaced by another language like Italian in the French dubbed version.
How interesting to know that French is changed to another language in English movies because the purpose is to show a foreign language... Cool! Thanks for sharing. 😊

My favorite movie is The Avengers . I think is the best movie that I've seen and I'm fan about heroes movies.
My favorite film recently is "Ho so trinh sat". It is a detective film. It was set in Hong Kong. It was a hit at 1994 and today still many people love it. It has star-studded cast. The plot is so interesting that it keeps my attention and i can easily follow it. But in my country, there is only dubbed version, and i hope one day i can find a website that upload it with subtitles so i can hear the real voice of the actors

I love the lord of ring. The plot, character and score, everything is so fantastic for me. Especially the most impressive thing is the companionship between the characters when they have to struggle with something horrible which seems like completely impossible to break through. In the end, they eventually catch a victory overcoming all difficulties, which is quite touching. And personally, fantasy is my favorite genre since it is likely to stimulate my imagination. Besides the lord of the ring was directed by Tolkin and l am big fan of his way of making the unique universe full of fresh ideas. The movie was a hit as soon as it came out. It made me feel like l was connected to people that love this movie.
Directed by a prominent Russian director Svetlana Baskova, the movie 'Green Elephant' (Зеленый Слоник) is set in a guardhouse somewhere in remote Russian countyside. The main characters of this movie two minor officers 'brother' (братишка) and 'madman' (поехавший) are locked in a crapmt guardhouse cell awaiting their punishment with no food or water. Passing long hours together on their own our heroes ask morale questions to each other and question the army's authority. The movie themes deal with injustice , violence in the army and honor of a true officer. Upon its original release the film was panned by both audience and critics , who obviously weren't prepared for such a mature and gritty military drama. Over the years the picture achieved a deserved cult status. Literally can't recommend this movie more.

Fringe is one of my favorite sci-fi shows! I don't remeber now where it takes place, but the show has some stuff that I really enjoy such as time traveling, paralel universes and some investigation, it reminds me X-Files a lot. The plot really got my attention, althougt I didn't enjoy the final episode as much as I wanted, mybe I was expectiong for something else to happen, but no regrets, it was an awesome show!

I love the book "Me before You" I readed it a while ago, and I cried so much, probably because I was emotionally tired and sentimental, so it moved me lot ... It's a sad plot for sure, and there is a movie of this book, and I liked it, mainly because it stars one of my favorite actresses, Emilia Clarke. But in my personal opinion, the movie didn't catch the emotion of the book.
