    Has anyone read, 'The Mantle of the Prophet ' by Roy Motohaddeh? It's about Ayatollah Modaressi... There's a good book also called, 'Montazeri' by Siavoshi. Also, ex president Khatami's book, ' Islam, Liberty and Development '.

    I converted to Islam and learned how to pray from my Shia Irani brothers but converted in a Sunni masjid. Then I got a Shaykh. Shaykh Khaled Abou El Fadl and I recited my tashahud for him and he said it's fine. He's studied under Ayatollah Modaressi and Shaykh Muhammad Al Ghazali ra from Al Azhar. Shaykh Khaled is a Shafei'i but has more respect for the Shia than Sunnis. His late mother once told me that if every leader in the Arab world was like Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah ra we wouldn't be in the situation we're in. I'm called a Sushi lol. Check out Shaykh Khaled Abou El Fadl and Imam Qazwini. It's on TH-cam. Ppl thought it was going to be a Shia vs Sunni debate. But they respect each other too much and they both just slammed the Wahhabiya.

    How does the normal person pray 51 raka'at?Our schedules are already tight enough as is

    • @Shia.Ahlulbayt
      @Shia.Ahlulbayt 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Is it? You probably spend more time eating, watching tv, on social media etc that it would take to do them all.

    I am just wondering. Allah swt has fixed 5 times prayer for us. Even Rasul sm said it's ok if I only say my fard. Making it 51 rakat is too much dont you think. Otherwise rasul sm could stick to the one given by Allah swt at the first time he gave 50 rakat. Excess of anything is bad, isn't it?

    We the allegedly incomplete Shia are better off trying to make 17 rakats count on time.

      If u intend to pray on time, god will always help you and give you a way to do so.
      Before you do anything, always say tawakul 3al allah. During your break, ask one of the authorities if you could pray somewhere and im sure they will assist you.
      Why fear the creation, when the creator is with you?
      Hope this helps.

      Have pure intentions of praying on time and you will see help coming from Allah (swt). You might face some difficulties but again it's a test from Allah (swt) coz with this tests He wants to raise your standard.

    A hujjatul Islam has a different profession than others. They can go for 51 rakats on time each day. Its not possible for the average people. While the information is good but its not practical and highly condescending.

      @hasanbilgrami5735 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If your intentions are to recite nawafil inspire of a very busy schedule trust me brother Allah (swt) will make time for you. But if someone has made up their mind that's it's highly impossible then never ever he will be given the toufiq to recite nawafil 😊

      @@ImranAhmed-nk9it He right you already made up your mind in the answer you gave. Many with normal professions can do. It isn't that it isn't possible timewise as many spend more time eating, watching tv, etc. than it take to do them. If the intention not even there how anyone going to do.

      @@Shia.Ahlulbayt You made up your mind to blindly follow a man's deduction of religion. You surely have not done hard physical labour hours away from home and struggled for food and rest. Your reply is devoid of reason.

      @@ImranAhmed-nk9it You made your mind to call Allah religion man's deduction. In your arrogance you don't even know recommended prayers are mentioned in the Quran. Now that is real blindness lecturing. So unless you're saying the Quran is man made you are showing your complete ignorance. Rather than giving your false fatwa's on what is made man actually read you will find the truth.
      Your reply is devoid of any basic knowledge of what your replying to. How do you like it when someone gives you taste of your own medicine. One things clear your jahil. Someone who's got a hard life who not arrogant might actually appreciate some advice that might help them.
      You claim I made up my mind if someone has no time in the day and it is impossible to be in state of taharat even no tayammum fair enough. But if someone who can spare even 20 min in the day even if spreadout they can actual do. How many can really argue 20 minutes in day it too hard when it can even been done lying in bed!!! How many can really say they cannot do that? But a jahil like you is arguing so vehemently against it. Why does it hurt your ego that something recommended that you can't be bothered trying.
