+Fleur DeForce I bought the Bite lipstick after seeing it in one of your videos. Started by using it at an angle, not top down. Kind of odd for the first few uses, but now it's perfect.
The reason why Asian mascaras are super waterproof because we need them to hold the curl, we don't have natural curve lashes like western people, so we really rely on those eyelash curler and strong mascara to hold them all day.
I remember seeing your first ever disappointing products in my sub box, and I still love them just as much then all these years later. You're so graceful and real, I will always enjoy watching you Fleur ☺️
Please can you start consistently listing the make-up you're wearing in the description box Fleur? Every video I usually wonder about one product or another you're wearing. Thank you 😊 x
This is the first time I've seen See by Chloe in any video! I LOVE the scent - haha! Got it for Christmas and I've gotten so many compliments - I love it! Crazy how that works!
I love the Eve Lom cleanser scent! But I am there with you on the Pixi wipes - they're pants. I tried Peter Thomas Roth acne dots (sticker thingies) recently and thought they were rubbish. X
Haha...I quite liked those dots...they kept my nascent hormonal lesions on my face under control and they subsided quite meekly in a matter of a few days rather than blowing up into the usual painful and embarrassing Krakatoa caliber boils, which never seem to come to a head properly.
I have extremely dry skin and use the Nivea blue tin moisturizer for my face, as my day cream, night cream & eye cream. It is also full of mineral oil. I have found that this is the greatest thing for dry skin. I tried to go "natural" as well by using cold creams, even ones that the pharmacist made for me specially. In the end, good old mineral oil seems to hold onto moisture the best. I also use sweet almond oil to cleanse (just a few drops will do). I'm 43 and I currently have yet to get my first wrinkle.
This was so helpful! I was looking forward to pick up one of those Clinique L-lipbalm/lipscrub macarons because they looked so promising, but seeing the pigmentation now... I think I'll save my money! :)
My theories about the S&G eyebrow pencil are hormones (TOTM) or alcohol in your system making it oxidise? I know that sounds crazy but I can't think what else it could be!! Really useful video though, I love when you do these because you give such a lot of detail and acknowledge your own personal judgements versus general flaws. xx
I must agree with you on the Clinique lip balm and scrub although it doesn't bother me they're not pigmented but the scrub isn't grainy enough. I found the Eve Lom cleansing balm was fine for me and I quite liked the scent but have since come across better cleansing balms...and Eve Lom's one is pricey. The lip colour you're wearing is gorgeous - really want it! x
I can see where you are coming from with the Mai Couture touch up sheets. I think using a little kabuki brush instead of rubbing them directly on the face would work wonders and get a nice soft application. I always carry on with me anyways. I just thought that was a cool product especially for travel and on the go when you don't want to lug a tonne of makeup.
I, like a lot of people here, really appreciate you taking the time to do these videos as it helps decide what to spend my money on. If you could do more, particularly on hair products and luxury make up and beauty products, that would be really great, even one bumper every 6 months or something.
I've used the EVE LOM cleanser before and I liked the scent. I'd agree that it's maybe a bit intense but it's quite therapeutic/spa-like that I found quite relaxing personally x
I love the City Radiance foundation! I bought it after seeing you wearing it in an Instagram photo because I thought it looked so good on you. It's the only foundation I've ever found that doesn't cling to my dry patches and I love the glow it gives. It's funny how different products work on different people :)
ALL of my lipsticks end up with a flat top like that Bite one, no matter how hard I try to keep them in a bullet. Must just be the way I apply them but it works for me! :)
I thought what you were saying about Asian mascaras being tough to remove was interesting... I haven't tried many but the Heroine Make Volume and Curl mascara Super Waterpoof has by far been the easiest mascara to remove that I've ever tried. It's super water resistant but came off so super smoothly with eye makeup remover and didn't leave flakes all over my eyelids or darkness, nor did I have to tug at my lashes. It's such an awakening mascara with amazing hold! I highly recommend you try it out Fleur :)
You should try SYSTANE Lid Wipes - pre-moistened cleansing wipes - hypoallergenic, non-irritating and soothing. And each wipe is individually packaged. I started using them after my LASIK a year ago - and they are awesome for removing mascara:-)
I love your videos like this, your always honest about a product but never rude if you know what I mean. I completely trust your review/opinion of a product
As someone with scent-triggered migraines I love the fact that Clinique doesn't add scent to their products. That's one reason why I use Clinique. There are some products (Chanel, OCC and others) I can't use at all because of the scent. Just not worth the risk.
I was so close to buying the Bourjois City Radiance foundation the other day but went for the Healthy Mix instead! So glad I did that haha Thanks for a great video Fleur! xx
The Mai Couture is nice if you use a stipple brush on the paper then apply to the face. However, it defeats the purpose of being convenient, but gives you an option to use it up. I agree the Eve Lom is quite unpleasant. Hugs, Summer xo
Great video Fleur. Other than the Glow Tonic, all of the other items I've tried by Pixi have been a huge disappointment. The last 3 Pixi items I bought, I ended up returning them.
I LOVE the smell of the Eve Lom cleanser! It smells quite herbal to me. Although it may be like the Sunday Riley range; those smelt AWFUL to me at first but now, having used them for a while, I don't mind the smell at all.
I love watching these types of videos. I tried the milani liquid eyeliner "eyetech" and was disappointed. It flaked on my eyelids and the formula was bad. I wonder if it is my eyelids, but it didn't work for me. Love your lipstick Fleur! xx
My daughter had a similar experience with the S&G eyebrow product in that it made her brows purple. She thought it was because she had owned it a while though. Also, after watching your recent haul video I bought the Pixi Glow Tonic and am loving it, thanks.
Hahah Fleur, I so agree with the Clinique lip scrub thing! This woman tried to sell it to me and all the colours were soo sheer I didn't know what she was trying to convince me of lol! Loved this video and If you haven't tried it already, I highly recommend Balmology's cleansing balm! :)
Hey Fleur, I think for Dolly Wink, they have a specific mascara remover from the same brand, so I guess if you use the specific remover, it would help a lot.
I love how the Eve Lom cleanser works, but over time the balm develops these large chunky grainy bits that hurt my face, so I always end up picking/flicking them off while trying to work the balm into my skin. Yikes! I'm working through it b/c I want to finish it b/c it's so freaking expensive, and then move on. Totally agree.
The City Radience foundation does brighten my skin but I find it a bit too pink and it really clings to dry areas on my face too - even if they're really not that dry. The brow pencil you mentioned reminded me about the Soap & Glory pen eyeliner which is far too chunky to draw on comfortably and it's not nearly as pigmented as most of the other drug store eyeliner pens.
The reason why many asian mascara is so difficult to remove is that we have specific mascara- remover (its shape is like a mascara as well) for it, and they are sooo handy! highly recommend it, once you get that, you can remove your Japanese mascara very easily!
Hey Fleur! Awesome video. Especially interesting to know about the See by Chloe fragrance because I was interested in buying it... maybe not anymore haha. All of your videos are so lovely - I'm a huge fan. I was wondering though if you might do more makeup/look of the day tutorials in the future. There are so many amazing products that you mention and I would love if you did some tutorials with them (especially the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette!) Anyways, keep it up! You're the best! xoxo
Totally agree with the Dollywink mascaras! Sooooo difficult to get off, definitely too much of a pain for me when I have no problem with mascara smudging on me
Asian mascaras are designed for Asian lashes. Personally, I cannot wear any mascara that is not waterproof or else it just droops my lashes. So if you can wear a non waterproof mascara and have great looking lashes, I don't understand what is the point of buying Asian waterproof mascaras
That's so strange with the Bourjois foundation the air matte did the same to my skin that the city radiance did to yours and I love it! boots organics cleansing balm is excellent and a good dupe for eve lom it doesn't have mineral oil in it and costs 8 or 9 pounds when not on offer also their no7 beautiful skin cleansing balm is beautiful very creamy, cooling and calming and you can just rinse it off with water cloth not required so good if your in a hurry xxx
i used to wear the soap and glory brow archery pen and i found that it turned my eyebrows purple?! i now just use my Anastasia dip brow pomade. x great video btw x
I'm not that quickly dissapointed by products but the dermalogica pre-cleanse is horrible!!! The lady at the counter said that it takes off even waterproof eye make-up but it can't even handle my normal mascara! When I'm ready with removing my make-up with the pre-cleanse and the cleanser and want to put a nightcream on I have hunderds of little black dots under my eyes, I normally wouldn't mind to use an extra eye make-up remover but the pre-cleanse is really expensive so I thought it could do better! After I'm done with this bottle I'm going back to the MAC cleanse-off oil
You can make your own lip scrub with sugar and almond oil or honey! :D It really works and you can make the quantity that you need each time without worrying about it expiring or anything
I bought that exact same mascara in Japan in October and was so disappointed! In fact I was quite disappointed by a lot of the stuff I bought. Japanese drug store overrated in my opinion and quite expensive compared to boots and superdrug.
I had been using the Maybelline Sensational Lashes (the light pink mascara) for a few months and I started to notice that my eyelashes seemed thinner. I went to Ulta to ask a lady about it and she said the same thing happened to her. Since that mascara is so hard to get off it can end up ruining and suffocating your lashes. I don't know if this is everyone's experience and I really loved the end result of the mascara, but my eyelashes are so thin! Right now I prefer the Better Than Sex by Too Faced just because it's easy to get off and the brush is really nice.
Love Eve Lom. Took me a few days to understand how to massage it in and melt the granules rather than harshly scrub my face. My skin has jumped leaps and bounds with this cleanser. Bummer about mineral oil-I am trying to wean off Eve to EH balm-very slow.☺️
Love your videos Fleur!....air matt is awful! i got the lightest shade as im really pale and it was bright orange! and it applied so thin and blotchy! xxx
Hi Fleur! the bi-phase (oil on water) eye makeup removers work really easily on waterproof mascara, if you haven't tried any yet, I would recommend them! XO
The original SeeBy Chloe is my signature fragrance. I absolutely love it! You might also enjoy the Tocca fragrance in Colette. I recently got it for my birthday and I'm obsessed! You can find it at Anthropologie or Sephora. Also, totally agree about the Clinique lip balm/scrubs! Super disappointing. Normally love their stuff! Thanks for sharing :)
I quite like the smell of the eve lom cleanser but I definitely grew into it after getting various samples. Quite herby and I prefer the morning cleanser than the original
Thanks so much for watching guys! For those asking, my lipstick is Ciate's new Liquid Velvet in 'Pin Up' xxx
It looks beautiful on you ♡
+Fleur DeForce Haha thank you I was just posting a comment asking what colour it was when I saw this :)
ITS GORGEOUS
+Fleur DeForce I bought the Bite lipstick after seeing it in one of your videos. Started by using it at an angle, not top down. Kind of odd for the first few uses, but now it's perfect.
This is the EXACT reason I came to the comments, so thanks for letting us know. The color looks beautiful on you!
The reason why Asian mascaras are super waterproof because we need them to hold the curl, we don't have natural curve lashes like western people, so we really rely on those eyelash curler and strong mascara to hold them all day.
I love that you do these videos, I find them just as helpful as favorites videos!
I always enjoy your Disappointing Products videos!! Xx
I remember seeing your first ever disappointing products in my sub box, and I still love them just as much then all these years later. You're so graceful and real, I will always enjoy watching you Fleur ☺️
Such an interesting video! I have to say I do love the Bourjois City radiance foundation, but it's not as good as their previous ones!
I totally remember that brow pencil turning orange on your brows and hand in that vlog, it was freaky watching it happen lol
What vlog was it?
+Linnea Olsson the 3rd of febvlog
MsSportychic11 Thanks :)
+CityGalBeauty Yeah same! It was so funny hahah
Asians lashes are mostly pointing straight down and very hard to curl. Thats why the mascara are tend to be drier and waterproof to hold the curl
Black really suits you with your blonde hair Fleur, you look stunning here!
Your review about the lip scrubs is soooo on point! I completely agree that the lush ones are so much more effective. I love you even more now
Lovely video! Thanks for sharing :) xx
New trend, orange brows 💁
Now, seriously, I love Fleur's reviews. They always keep me away from bankruptcy. ❤️
Please can you start consistently listing the make-up you're wearing in the description box Fleur? Every video I usually wonder about one product or another you're wearing. Thank you 😊 x
Fleur, what is that beautiful colour on your lips, I absolutely love it?! 😍
This is the first time I've seen See by Chloe in any video! I LOVE the scent - haha! Got it for Christmas and I've gotten so many compliments - I love it! Crazy how that works!

Haha...I quite liked those dots...they kept my nascent hormonal lesions on my face under control and they subsided quite meekly in a matter of a few days rather than blowing up into the usual painful and embarrassing Krakatoa caliber boils, which never seem to come to a head properly.
What lipstick are you wearing?
+Hristianna Mushkova I was thinking the same thing, it's amazing! I need to get my mitts on it asap :) x
I was wondering as well!
I'm wondering the same thing
I love it what is it ahhhhh
Following this thread as I need this colour in my life!
Really useful video though, I love when you do these because you give such a lot of detail and acknowledge your own personal judgements versus general flaws. xx
+Philippa Wood could it be just it oxidizing with the air? because i know some people find foundation goes darker or orangey after they apply it
I swatched it in store and it went green/brown on me, so weird right😐
+saara Hannan changes with your mood
I agree with you about the mineral oil in expensive products! Or petrolatum for that matter!!! They should not be in them!!!
My favorite videos ever. Thank you Fleur. So honest and classy always. X
I really appreciate these types of videos that you do and the fact that you have included affordable items as well. Keep up the great work Fleur! :)
Your makeup is always so elegant these days ! Love it !
The orange brow Vlog was so funny, I can't believe the size of that brow pen though, it's massive!!
What was the title of that vlog? X
do you remember which vlog it was??
Packing and house updates it's something like day 3 around 3 minutes in
+Rebecca greenwood I tried searching for this in her videos and nothing pops up
+chigangrel have you gone on her vlogging channel it's like febvlog day 3 and about 3 minutes in.
Completely agree about the Eve Lom cleanser, it stinks! The only way I can describe it is medicinal apples haha
Benefit Push Up liner - got it free with a magazine, found it so difficult to use so gave up.
I, like a lot of people here, really appreciate you taking the time to do these videos as it helps decide what to spend my money on. If you could do more, particularly on hair products and luxury make up and beauty products, that would be really great, even one bumper every 6 months or something.
Would love to see you do more tutorials/grwm on this channel, your makeup during febvlog was always amazing
I love what colour lip shade you have on it really suits your complexion!
I've used the EVE LOM cleanser before and I liked the scent. I'd agree that it's maybe a bit intense but it's quite therapeutic/spa-like that I found quite relaxing personally x
I have seen the bronzer blotting pads and always thought they would be more effort to apply than normal browsers, such a helpful video :)
I wish she'd list the products in the description box, plus what makeup she's wearing. I want to know that lipstick
Why do you want a list of products she doesn't recommend?! She always lists everything in her favourite videos or tutorials!
She's just commented what it is x
I love the City Radiance foundation! I bought it after seeing you wearing it in an Instagram photo because I thought it looked so good on you. It's the only foundation I've ever found that doesn't cling to my dry patches and I love the glow it gives. It's funny how different products work on different people :)
Fleur, your skin looks so lovely here!!! What foundation are you wearing???
Omg I love the smell of the Eve Lom Cleanser! I remember hating the smell first time I tried but but strangely loving it since
I love the bourjois foundation. It gives a great sheen and love that it is spf 30.
Love these types of videos because I know what not to spend my hard earned dollas on lol
+Emily Alison ik I've bought things before that people said were good and they weren't
ALL of my lipsticks end up with a flat top like that Bite one, no matter how hard I try to keep them in a bullet. Must just be the way I apply them but it works for me! :)
Absolutely love your channel. I just purchased your first book and pre ordered the second. Great information, almost finished.
+Leslie Morris Thank you on all counts - SO glad you like it and hope you will love the second just as much! :)

For lip scrub.. they are basically just sugar/salt mix with some oil and color extract, so it's really easy to mix them yourself!
As someone with scent-triggered migraines I love the fact that Clinique doesn't add scent to their products. That's one reason why I use Clinique. There are some products (Chanel, OCC and others) I can't use at all because of the scent. Just not worth the risk.
I am loving these types of videos!! They are so informative, absolutely brilliant :) xx
can you do a time management video? it amazed me how you can do so many things each day and still so energetic. Thanks Fleur
The soap and glory eyebrow tint is really nice, very natural and precise for drawing in hairs
I always appreciate these videos.
I was so close to buying the Bourjois City Radiance foundation the other day but went for the Healthy Mix instead! So glad I did that haha Thanks for a great video Fleur! xx
great video lovely! i have to say though that I absolutely love the CR foundation and hated air matte ha! x
I was going to get the Eve Lom cleanser after Inthefrow recommended it but I thought twice after seeing the price. Now I'm so glad I didn't purchase!
I really like the elf lip scrub 💋
The Mai Couture is nice if you use a stipple brush on the paper then apply to the face. However, it defeats the purpose of being convenient, but gives you an option to use it up. I agree the Eve Lom is quite unpleasant. Hugs, Summer xo
Great video Fleur. Other than the Glow Tonic, all of the other items I've tried by Pixi have been a huge disappointment. The last 3 Pixi items I bought, I ended up returning them.
Ahaha everyone always asks for your lip colour!! You should do an updated make up collection video!X
What foundation are you wearing in this? Your skin is amazing and the shade is perfect!!! 👌
I LOVE the smell of the Eve Lom cleanser! It smells quite herbal to me. Although it may be like the Sunday Riley range; those smelt AWFUL to me at first but now, having used them for a while, I don't mind the smell at all.
I know you guys are in two different countries but I would love to see another Fleur and Tati collab. great video btw
I love watching these types of videos. I tried the milani liquid eyeliner "eyetech" and was disappointed. It flaked on my eyelids and the formula was bad. I wonder if it is my eyelids, but it didn't work for me. Love your lipstick Fleur! xx
This is so helpful.. Lots of products I was thinking of buying but will think twice
My daughter had a similar experience with the S&G eyebrow product in that it made her brows purple. She thought it was because she had owned it a while though. Also, after watching your recent haul video I bought the Pixi Glow Tonic and am loving it, thanks.
Fleur your hair looks FAB, gorgeous.
Totally agree about the Eve Lom cleanser. Smell, ingredients, texture - no mas.
Ugh i honestly hate having products that disappointed me somehow:(
But great video as always! And I love the mirror in the background!

+Brooke M Richards omg hi I watch your films every morning when I wake up

What lip colour are you wearing? It's beautiful
The Bite lipstick has the same amount of product (0.15oz) as the other Bite lipsticks, you're not getting less product.
Fleur, have you ever tried the Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eye Liner in blackest black? I was recommended it in a drugstore once and it was great!
The reason why many asian mascara is so difficult to remove is that we have specific mascara- remover (its shape is like a mascara as well) for it, and they are sooo handy! highly recommend it, once you get that, you can remove your Japanese mascara very easily!

What is on your face & lips? Ty for this so helpful.
I bought that exact same mascara in Japan in October and was so disappointed! In fact I was quite disappointed by a lot of the stuff I bought. Japanese drug store overrated in my opinion and quite expensive compared to boots and superdrug.

Hey fleur!! The brow product it's oxidising once worn! Something to do with the pigment!!!!! Mystery solved!! Xxx
Hi just started watching - do you have any how to make up application vlogs? Love your make up. Would love to know- thank you
The ELF Studio Lip Exfoliator is amazing if you're looking for a portable, bullet shaped lip scrub! 100% would recommend.
OMG I LOVE that lip exfoliator! I use it most mornings before I put on my lip balm for the day :) so glad it's so cheap!
I love these videos! Great to hear your opinions! xxx
Hi fleur.you r looking so gorgeous.will you please do a video of your favourite nailpolishes?
I really miss the vlogs. Wish Mike could vlog the months Fleur doesn't.
+Tom Ripley Me toooo :(
I quite like the smell of the eve lom cleanser but I definitely grew into it after getting various samples. Quite herby and I prefer the morning cleanser than the original
