Nice yacht. I'd take that casino area and make it the dinning area proper. And keep that loung as just a loung and remove the drop dinning table from the ceiling. Otherwise wouldn't change anything else. Great tour. How many crew members?
Hey Paulo, The casino area would definitely be a great formal dining area in comparison! When it comes to crew something like this would probably have 10 - 12 depending on number of guests.
Okay, when I find my winning lottery ticket, it's between this boat and _Mizu._ I'd eventually have to change out the casino room, most likely. I'm really impressed with the crew area and the galley/stew galley areas. Two things not mentioned: 1) How many crew does she have? 2) Is she certified for chartering?
Mizu is half the price. I would take that too. Plus Mizu was actually set up so that you can have lots of toys and other things on board. I like this boat, but I think Mizu is universally loved. Everyone talks about Mizu all the time. But for whatever reason she can't sell. She's on her 4th broker now. Rumor was that she sold and had a name change and was on the charter market. But I think that was false. It's funny how you can ask most people who watch yacht videos what yacht they would buy if they could and I think Mizu would be named by a lot. Bold (similar, to Mizu, true?) Would be in there. Then all the other usual megayachts like Dilbar, Quantum of Solace, Octopussy, IJE, Luna, Nord, Skat etc. I like explorer yachts so CdM's stuff, Bering 140, Numarine 37XP, Sirena, anything Turquoise makes. Mizu is awesome. Good choice.
I did a walkthrough on this boat at the show and was very much interested in purchase. We had a talk with the Captain for quite some time. Further due diligence tells me this boat was sold in summer 2021 with an asking price of $13.5m. The summary from the crew was that the owner has wanted to put very little money into this boat and it's like pulling teeth to get him to spend anything. Brings to question what was done from Summer of 2021 until FLIBS to warrant the $6m increase in asking price. Also why the quick sale in 4-5 months after purchase. It's possible my information is wrong?
Perhaps the owner is simply flipping the boat for a quick profit. It could also be that given the shortage of yachts for sale has driven prices up. I looked at another yacht of similar size that also had a dramatic price increase in a very short time. (Edit) I did a little research and found that the asking price in Feb 2021 was $21,300,000. The current asking price is $19,900,000. Think your information must be incorrect on a selling price of $13.5 million. I found nothing to support that figure.
