- The NEXT BIG FIGHTING GAME IS HERE! Tekken 8 is shaping up to be one of my personal favorite fighting games of the year. We are still learning to play the free demo for now, so don't go too hard on me (PAUSE) GIVE ME TIPS! Enjoy lol.

I don't know anything about Tekken in general. I'm sorry
Don't use that special input setting. It'll be hard to learn how to play normally at first but it'll pay off 100% knowing real inputs. Find the character you like and play them regardless of tierlists, popularity, etc.
A lot of characters are hard af in Tekken but don't be discouraged from learning them. Prioritize playing safe while learning so you don't pick up any bad ass habits lmao.

It’s definitely getting a lot more positive online traction compared to MK1.
The characters are so fun and anime-feeling without looking like a traditional anime art style.
The combos are so fun to pull off when you get the hang of it. Not to mention the impact of each hit feels so powerful.
The story isn’t some convoluted mess that involves multiple worlds or timelines. And is just a run-of-the-mill story you’d see in any Shonen anime, but goddamn did they execute the tropes well. And if you were a fan that’s been playing for a long time, there are so many cool references in not just the visuals, but the music and a certain gameplay implementation that just brings back waves of nostalgia.
Heck, they even put in a jukebox mode where you can select any song from past Tekken games and put them in any stage or menu section. To say Tekken 8 had a very strong start is an understatement.
This game looks so fire. I would love to see more of it.(along side some KOF and MBAACC if you don't mind)
I know nothing about Tekken but this looks fire! Getting punched like this would probably be equivalent to getting hit by Fallen's Regular Punch (The one that sends you across the map)

@@capt.dremillion lol it’s fine for starters I just think it limits you a lot
@@capt.dremillion Not that far my man, you can learn the combos/moves that the "special style" controls give you in an hour or 2 tops. You can go into the practice mode and pin combos to your screen to see the button inputs while practicing. The simple controls honestly put you at a disadvantage for any ranks past green so it's definitely worth getting used to the regular controls.
