The last Boss is a perfect example of how to completly mess up a boss fight and make almost 90% of the encounter difficulty purely dependand on your composition. Imagine the poison isnt gone from everybody after some 2-4 seconds, but you have to heal 4 persons until the very end... i tried on a +9 and barely could do it with so little Melee uptime. And then i had a 4 dispell comp on a +11 a week later and this thing was a free kill... Not taking away anything of your performance, every +17 is still hard on its own, but that last one is either a walk in the park, or a fucking misery 😞
This boss fight definitely sucks as mistweaver. I don’t get enough melee uptime but manage to make it work. I’ve healed this boss with only 1 dispel (my own) & omg everything felt like it was falling to pieces LMAO. Hp bars were melting. I think they also nerfed this boss recently whenever Siren Isles patch released but I could be wrong 👀
Absolutely love the content! Been struggling with understanding Chiji for some time now and I don't understand what I'm doing, is there any chance you'll be making a guide on how to play chiji?
At least for S1, Chiji is either a low CD Healing CD especially for trash, since it procs all thos gusts that really hit hard healing wise or a ramp for heavy Group Damage. It provides a small, but nonetheless helpful shield to your group and basically gives you kinda Freedom from Movement imparing effects. Also, every direct hit from either from either RSK or BOK reduces the cast time of your next Enveloping Mists for 33%, so 3 hits and its an instant. But whats more imporant, if you take "Celestial Harmony" (which is a must), your Enveloping gets an additional HoT on your Target, that buffs healing for 10% and even splashes that buff to nearby allies. And thats what makes it more than a healing CD, but also a Ramp. Right now, since the addtional Gusts proc only from additional Targets, its kinda weak for pure Fistweaving in Single or Two target fights with high damage events (still works for Keys below ~14 ), but that prob. changes a bit in Season two with the expected buffs to ST Fistweaving in S2. You can however and should still use it to ramp buffed up Enveloping mists in those 12s. The shield is almost worth casting it alone, but if you f.e. have a Black Ox Proc and pool 3-4 TotM, go Chiji -> Hardcast EM -> BOK -> instant EM from the proc, then RSK, Tigerpalm, Tigerpalm, BOK and renew the Buff with another instant EM (you can also use TFT and proc another instant EM or RSK to maintain EM) maybe into Vivify, Sheiluns or even Revival, if you need more healing. So Chiji is, especially in higher keys, often used right before damage happens, to start with the shielding, going into spreading heal enhancing Hots into bigger Healing. While doing trash, you can just use it while doing normal rotation and spending the 2 instant EM from TP, TP, BOK.
