Your enthusiasm is continually inspiring. Love this one as it's VERY different than typical gel plate work. Loved watching the process and the final outcome. ❤❤❤
Thanks Paul, it was fun to mess with and I really enjoyed the process. Different from typical is always worth exploring! thanks for watching
Thank you, Elizabeth! This was so fun to watch & I’m inspired to try sgrafitto 🌻
I had a great time just going through the process! My pleasure, thanks for watching
Beautiful! Thank you Elizabeth, you are always full of fun ideas!
@@francinetoni268 I do try! 😊
A very interesting and fun technique. Love the print. Thanks for the tutorial.
@@geriprior751 my pleasure! Thanks for watching
Love this. I think this method could make some very unique cards. Must try. Thanks.
@@sharonnodelman1813 I hope you have great results!!
Wunderbare Erklärung, danke! Gruß aus Deutschland
You're welcome!
I dropped everything to try this delightful technique and it turned out spectacularly. It would have been even better if I had followed your directions to pick up paint bits with a damp cloth. Thank you, Elizabeth!
@@ConfusedBigWaterfall-oz4mm my pleasure! Thanks so much
Love this technique - can't wait to try it. Thank you for sharing.
@@julieboyle170 hope it works out well! My pleasure
I have done this before but found some good tips from you. I like the idea of dipping in baby oil for smooth edges and using the fluid acrylics for the thin background to scrape into. Thanks for another great video
the baby oil dipping was a happy accident, it really did help. Happy to help, hope you have a chance to try it.
Simply amazing And what an amazing piece. I am going to try these techniques for some scrapbooking projects
I hope you have great results with it Connie!
Beautiful 🤩. You always make it look so easy. I admire your creative imagination. Thank you for sharing and inspiring 💐
I do try to edit out the times I throw the gel plate on the floor in frustration! LOLOLO thanks for watching Judy
Stunning!
@@Karibee61 thanks!
This is lovely! Great idea to try 😍
I hope you will give it a try! thanks for watching
I have ricepaper since a few years. And i didn't know for what i can take it. For my gelli plate it works realy good! Thank you
Great to hear!
I'm thinking a champagne acrylic like a glaze would be great for the final pull?
YOU can do any color or medium you like!
I’m trying the champagne acrylic for the final pull. Why not.
❤🎉
Can you use castor oil instead of baby oil
@@michellemullen518 no. Mineral oil only.
Great video. While I was watching I grabbed a gel plate and started doodling with my posca pens. Unfortunately the pen marks which looked great quickly shrank to a skinny broken line. My gel plate is clean and was oiled and cleaned a couple of weeks ago. What am I doing wrong?
If your plate has just been cleaned it reacts like a new plate and the new plates tend to resist paint, especially thin paint. Which is what's in a posca. I would pull a few more prints with other paints and then try again.
Maybe it only works on a gel printed surface paint?
Just guessing.
@@brendashelonko2149 it works on the plate surface
@@jolienkrispijn this is good advice
I am not sure oil from weeks ago would matter, it gets absorbed pretty quickly. But maybe if you don't use the plate much.
