That blonde chick is Dorothy's actual boss. She hijacked the US governement budget so she could go to space. "Oh my company promised you a canon or something? Oups i made a spaceship lol, send me the bill i'll be on Mars."
>borrowing Supah unit >it doesn't work another day, another supah disappointment : ) Yato spin does massive damage vs wide bosses that occupy several tiles, like that dragon. Against single targets, her normal skill is much better
Hey Clay, 3:14 Yes, there are actually multiple characters. Hoshiguma has a module that gives her 4 block count permanently, and Nian (limited character) her third ability is a large AOE around her that increases all allied operator's DEF%, blabla, and block count +1, effectively making all previous 3 block ops tanky 4 blocks for the duration of the skill 😊 EDIT: I only just saw the part where you find out Cuora also gets 4 block 😅
5:47 "who the hell is this?" Thats Dorothy's boss, for real, Dorothy is a researcher and Kirsten is the owner of that company, Rhine Lab. Saria and Silence are also all related to Rhine. Ifrit... has a "complicated" relationship with Rhine too... If you're interested, there is a short manga called Rhodes Island, Records of Originium that explains it all, is a really good read!
8:00 funny thing is that in this case, yato alter s2 is better for killing bosses since it deals much more damage than her s3 (only when her skill output is maximum).
Ah, the Kristen fight. I remember on the debut of this event that she was a menace. So when this rerun came, I made sure to demolish that stage with ease
Doctor Who? The Daleks? Oh and btw you need to unlock "Heart of Surging Flame" side story if you haven't. The stages cost 0 Sanity and its a really old event as well so it should be easy. Lobster
4 block is on some defenders who have module built (Matterhorn, Heavyrain, etc etc) other than that, only Cuora skill gives her 4 block, and one supporter skill gives her team +1 block (she's a free unit for later campaign chapters)
there are a few things with 4 block in the game there's Ling's dragons and most also most protector defenders get 4 block when they get their module for temporary 4 block, some defenders can increase their block and some instructor guards give 1 extra block to the units ahead, flag bearer vanguards can do the same with their module use your last weekly event unlock
Damn, Clay you have absolutely overtaken me. And you started later! College be damn, I’ll do my best to catch up and then I’ll see what terrible mistakes you have committed in this video.
The only character with a natural 4 block are Ling's big dragons. Otherwise some defenders can gain an extra block through skills and/or modules such as matterhorn, heavyrain, nian, or hoshiguma.
Since you're interested in block 4 operators, I can't wait to see you play chapter 10. A fun surprise awaits. Also you can check enemy archive and see what type of damage the enemy deals, those lightsaber dudes deal arts damage which why they destroy your ops, you need high RES not DEF. And yes melee arts enemies will appear more in later chapters and events.
Yato S3 hits multiple enemies but it can hit the same enemy multiple times if the enemy occupy multiple tiles. That was why it was suggested against the dragon boss. It is not useful against this boss.
"that's a lot of dogs" Kristen : helo 9:00 yeah pretty much what I said in another vid, Doro is decent for weak ahh enemies but so is... Everyone else tbh. Once you start tackling harder enemies she's isn't really ideal anymore.
4 blocks with dang good reasonable defense against BOTH physical and arts damage: Matterhorn E2 with module. EDIT: CW-8 is where you can put ranged operators anywhere right?
In your defence, i also refused to read when this even initially came out and used a guide instead. Once again in your defence, i still refuse to read, but now my account has immensely powercrept what was there before and this woman made it through maybe 5-6 tiles total.
Kristen is kinda hard and especially when you ignore her *balls*. Each converted one gains her +1 block requirement and some damage resistance, so if you leave them she becomes much harder to kill. It also does not help that each time you kill an orb it deals global arts damage. Which is why she screen clears when you enter phase 2 as not many ops can tank 3 orbs exploding simultaneously. You can get around that by killing the orbs first before entering phase 2 but that might be kinda hard when you are already struggling for damage. And Walter E2 will mostly just ignore it anyway.
Those last stages can be a pain. I had a AOE caster take care of some of the golden balls which helped. Took a few tries and a guide just to figure out where to place characters so they wouldn't blow up. The octopus lady at the end is Mayer. She's pretty good for her summoner class and has neat robot dogs. I didn't have enough materials to go beyond E1 but she holds her own. Just have to remind myself that her dogs take up a spot which stinks. Congrats on leveling up some characters. Some levels are good for grinding certain materials. I know there's a video out there. Otherwise hoping you get through the event.
The big space balls have an unstated mechanic during the boss fight where, when they are locked by Kristen, they lose DEF/RES with each hit just like the android guys. So you need to hit them a lot of times (preferably quickly) to deactivate them. Its an unfortunate oversight in the boss/mechanics description
3:19 BTW clay u have a 4 block unit aka Coura with s2 active and Hoshi with module and last but not least gavial alter with skill active have I believe 5 or 6 block
Kristen mechanics in case you didnt want to read in game: When you beat her to start Phase 2, she will deal Global Damage based on the numbers of the bound balls ( the ones that deal damage ). During Phase 2, she will bound all the balls in the map, so you have to destroy them, since she gets DMG Reduction for each ball bound. Destroying any ball will also do the global damage so you need to defeat 1 at a time so you can heal back
Dorothy's mines actually only deal arts dmg on S3. S1 and 2 deal phys dmg. Also strange how nobody mentions that Kal'tsit mon3ter also has natural block 4 paired up with true dmg on s3
Dude, you are playing pretty nice considering you are using E1 characters And well... you need to play Stultiefera navis because: 1-You can get one of the best medics in the game and 2-I want to see you suff- i mean i want to see you enjoy my favorite event
In case you didnt read Kristen description till the end. Then her first and second phase end she blast all operators for damage equivalen to 1000 * number of balls that polarized in that moment) So ypu better kill those balls)
here is a little tip on Kristen: she deals very little dmg so you can just block her, deals with everything else then finally finish her off (given that you need to destroy some balls to lower her block count)
The story and music of this event are peak. Though i never really vibed with the gamplaymechanic, aside form CW-8, that one was fun. Also both Yato skills are good, the one you used des massive single tiel damage, the other one does also massvie damage but over more tiles, which is realy good agaisnt the dragon since he´s like 3 tiles wide.
Congrats on Wisadel E2 (soon)! E2 will significantly increase what she can do for you, as she now has her summon, which makes her hard to kill and gives more damage, especially on S3 where she gets 3 of those things, making even her off skill damage very strong She does however get a significant boost in damage from her module still, which is quite expensive, and together with presumably low level on E2 she might not fully meet your expectations
So clay 1 thing I can tell to help with who to e2 first I used to do use a practice tikect and borrow support that is ur unit but e2 like for example u wanna e2 logos before u do that pick a difficult stage use practice ticket on and borrow logos e2 and try him
Ah yes Kristen.... the boss with damage reduction based on how many mutated balls he has on field... And everytime the ball is destroyed it did global damage. If you force him into phase 2 without clearing those ball the ball are considered as destroyed and deal stacked damage on you, hence the screen clear 😭
you can destroy the super ball, it will deal damage to all your unit. When the boss reach 0 hp she will destroy all super ball and deal the damage all at once, so you should destroy them one by one then heal up
Not the boss, I'm having a flashback fighting her💀
Incredible talent for picking the wrong Yato skill in any given stage 😭

@@hodwilver3656 So does Croissant

Lest we forget about the free operator that you get for playing chapter 10 that increases o decreases block count on skill

Many defenders can get 4 block, while the goat gavial alter gets 5 block while using skill 3
Including Cuora, who he does have
8:00 funny thing is that in this case, yato alter s2 is better for killing bosses since it deals much more damage than her s3 (only when her skill output is maximum).
Yeah the S3 talk with Yato was specifically for the Weenay boss because he's so big the cartwheel hits him multiple times.
Just to add to the confusion, her S1 can be the best for killing bosses if they have like 0 defense.
Use better wording. S2 is better for small bosses, S3 is better for huge bosses like the dragon and the plant, and waves of enemies.

Nah even worse, every ball reduces her damage taken (by 20% iirc), so you can't even really brute force the stage with high dph
