I recently stayed in the moncreif/Edgewood area for about 3 months , mind your own business and keep to yourself and its not that bad . Just dont go walking around at night through the neighborhoods and you will be fine
When I was stationed at Cecil Field, I lived in the Jacksonville Heights Apartments on 103rd St. not far from Ricker Rd. I've heard there's been a good bit of crime in that area recently. My dad grew up on Park St. not far from Roosevelt Blvd. and was a 1949 graduate of Lee High School.
103 rd st plenty of stories to tell. I lived in apartment right next to ihop for a year…. It was pretty cool no issues walk streets at night….. it has definitely turned for the worse…. It seems like landlords not really keeping up apartment complexes and gang influences over there definitely not my favorite side of town . Good people over there just drugs, crime is not the best based on statistics, they just took down a large gang over there….. thanks for watching and subscribing
I moved to Jacksonville and stored my stuff at the uhaul on 103rd. Someone was going through my stuff, so because it was a 24/7 storage facility, i parked close to my unit and watched all night. There were peope coming through that place all night with big bags of stuff on their way out. I had no idea that 103rd was getto hood, but i ended up after 8 months, going back home. Never going to forida again...im a caifornia girl for sure.
Considered Southside in mandarin. For the most part solid neighborhood in my opinion….. great value in properties in that area, most likely a few bad apples. Schools are solid in that area. Great indicator of crime rate

😂😂yeah downtown was a shock to me when I went down there, especially by the Urban League and where the housing authority is at

Ricker road south of 103rd is pretty good but ricker road north of 103rd is really bad

I've stayed on sunbeam and my experience is a little different, it's okay but it has a couple of bad apartments on that street.
