    Can u plz tell what are the permissible limits of loss angle (%) for 132kv transformer and bushing (ht) according to IEC standard?

      Dear Habibul Huda,
      thanks a lot for your interest in our videos and products. Regarding your question: In the IEC60137:2003-8 the maximum values of tan(delta) are give in Table 5 as:
      OIP: 0.7%
      RIP: 0.7%
      RBP: 1.5%
      For power transformers there are no limits given in a IEC standard. For limits it typically to follow CIGRE recommendations.
      In the CIGRE 445 it is mentioned that values are typically around 0.5% and values above 1% are questionable.
      Best Regards,
      your OMICRON team

    Dear Sir: Could you please tell me, For power transformer, which test is more accurate? And why? TAN DELTA TEST OR INSULATION RESISTANCE TEST? With my best regards.

      Hi Eng. Omar Eyad Aljorani,
      thanks a lot for watching our videos and for your interest. Regarding your question: Tangent Delta Testing allows an assessment under AC test voltage which is comparable to at power frequency and provides more detailed information about the insulation integrity.
      Best regards,

    Am I saying it correct?
    Ust means cap measured between HV and LV bushing of transformer.
    Gst means means HV and ground or LV and ground.

    • @omicronenergy
      @omicronenergy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Moumita Mondal,
      thank you for your interest!
      UST guards the current to ground whereas GST always measures the current to ground. Depending on the input configuration and setup, yes UST-A or UST-B is the Cap between HV and LV and GST the CAP between HV+LV+Ground.

    what is main difference between GST and GSTg mode

    • @omicronenergy
      @omicronenergy  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Mr. Chand,
      In GST mode each current from HV to ground, HV to Input A (red) and to Input B (blue).
      GSTg A or GSTg B or GSTg A+B means that the stated input of the CP TD1 gest guarded ("g" means guard) therefore this input current will not be taken into account for the calculation.
