Your review is incredible, and so are you! So in depth. You touched base on so many aspects of the blush. I ordered 3 of the blushes : rose blush, rose abricot and rose tan. As soon as they come back in stock, I will probably order rose ombre' as well. Rose pomette looks absolutely gorgeous as well! These blushes have such a creamy texture and look so delicate and ethereal on the skin. They look so beautiful on you Lexi. I also have the Rose Feu blush and Rose Tan lip enhancer coming yet, and the more I see swatches of Rose Feu, the more I’m loving it!
Hi Lexi! Thank you for doing this! That was a lot of swatching and comparing. On my iPad, the Rose Plume and Rose Blush looked the most flattering and natural. (And by the end, I noticed how irritated your poor cheeks looked.) I am happy with Rose poivré (very close to rose pommette) and I might get Rose Plume, which I believe is the closest to Chantecaille’s Bliss - my favorite winter shade (I just really dislike the pebble container, even though it is refillable). Now, I look forward to your demo and review of the Chantecaille Flower Power collection, which you will undoubtedly acquire soon (just found out that the Flower Power compacts are not refillable - what a missed opportunity).
Thank you Jocelyne! Yes my cheeks have definitely been irritated and it has been a couple of days since I filmed the swatches. I usually try to swatch on separate days but I wanted every shade to be in the most identical conditions as possible. Thankfully there were only 8! Plume is gorgeous and a bit more pink than bliss. Bliss has more of that nude tone to it and plume has a soft petal pink almost with a touch of lavender in it. It is cooler in tone than Bliss but so beautiful! Unfortunately I decided to pass on the Chantecaille collection this time. The blush looks beautiful but reminded me too much of Sisley Golden Rose which I don't use often enough as it is. I agree that they missed an opportunity with these compacts and hopefully they will make some changes. I did make the suggestion to them that they should make their compacts refillable and gave them a few of my opinions and suggestions so maybe if other people reiterate this idea, they will bring it to fruition in the future. I bought rose fue and I was waiting for rose tan but I missed the delivery guy 😩and after watching your video I think rose blush looks beautiful and rose abricot ❤️ they will be mine for sure! And I’m glad I didn’t even consider getting the refill, I know they are cheaper but at this price point I want the whole package if you know what I mean plus it’s such a bummer they didn’t think it through on the refill system
Thank you Julie! I hope they decide to change the refill system. So odd that they didn't use magnetic pans. I guess they could say it is more eco-friendly but since there is a magnetic closure already on the compact, that wouldn't make sense to me.
Thanks for the Sisley comparison, I don't own any but think I will pick up Rosewood now... I purchased Rose Blush and Rose Poivre but have only worn the Poivre and so far I quite like it.... I would only buy in the compact as I don't think i will ever go through the blush to need a refill and a big part of my makeup experience is the packaging... maybe that is shallow of me but I just love packaging..

Defeats the purpose of a refill if it’s not made accessible, especially for such an expensive blush. They look nice but I would not spend this much on blush. I have seen you wear some equally beautiful blushes that are less expensive, my favourite is Rose Plume and I love the fact they compliment the lipsticks. I love the Sisley blush also but it I have to admit the Rose Plume is on my mind, I should never say never 🤪 thank you for your fantastic review xx

Thanks for your videos! I actually like these wayyyy better than Chanel or Mercier or many of my other powder blushes . They definitely don’t (to me ) smell as strong as Chanel , guerlain either .

Well close enough , i dont think bee going get much of use, because i prefer Hermes. I dont care what anyone says. I love the blush, and planing to get a few more. I know some bashing because of the packaging, to me i dont need heavy packaging. I like to take my makeup with me to the beach, so i can use it after spending some hours in the sun. And honestly i dont care so much about the packaging, if i dont like the product.. for example La Prairie caviar concealer foundation, i used only once CT bronzer i dont use also. Take a look at the beige kalahari lipstick in the regular line. That might be a good one for you. It is nude with some peach tones and the tiniest gold sparkle that i can’t see on my lips. I agree that these are great blushes!

Hi Lexi, thanks for reviewing all the shades❤ Between #28 Rose Plume and #32 Rose Pommette, which one compliments fair neutral skin complexion best without looking yellowish? My complexion doesn’t go as well with orangey & brown colors. I prefer some sweet & youthful looking color.
I think they are both great for fair neutral skin but Rose Plume is my pick. Edited to say that Rose Poivre is my absolute favorite though. It wasn't available when I made this video but it is available on the Hermes site now and I have it in a video here: th-cam.com/video/hn7NX-TUxuo/w-d-xo.html

I don’t think so but you may want to call them and ask. I have noticed though that the size of the items makes more of a difference because it needs to warrant the bigger box or they send the small one which is always white. So when i order one eyeshadow palette and some lip liners, i got a small box but two eyeshadow palettes gave me a big pretty box even though i spent more the first time.

Hi Lexi, now is two years later, do you have a favorite blush from these 8 Hermes blushes? And are the Sisley Phyto blushes still your favorite blushes of all time, i.e. more than the Tom Ford's Brazen Rose, or the Suqqu #04?
I love the Hermes Rose Poivre which I think is not in this set as it was released later in the US but from here Rose Plume is a favorite. Sisley phyto blushes are great but not my current favorite. I'm not sure what is my favorite at the moment. The TF and Suqqu 04 are definitely up there in my favorites though and ones I use often. The TF is the best for a light nude/rose blush. It reminds me of the original Chanel Rose Ecrin which is a favorite of mine (the new version ruined it and the color isn't the same anymore).

Chanel rose petal is like the color I was hoping Hermès rose blush was gonna be, it was way too bright for me. I’m interested in getting rose ombré but the packaging felt so cheap idk If I’ll buy any more
You could always see if you have a compact with the right size you prefer and add a refill instead. I don’t have anything in which it would fit perfectly but perhaps you do. The Chanel rose petale is gorgeous though!
I personally like the way the Sonia G brush applied the blush more diffused and even. The Hermes side is not natural looking and the blush was all over and not where it should be.
For my coloring i definitely need a softer, more difusing brush but hopefully those with deeper skintones can see how deep these blushes can get. My application was definitely messier on that side!
Yes I wanted to keep the placement a bit higher because I have a lot of redness in my cheeks and they get aggravated easily with the multiple swatches. Hopefully you can see the actual shade of each blush though and I think the placement will be different for different face shapes and particular shades imo. I think the rosier shades look beautiful just on the cheek center. I will be wearing these more on a regular basis so I will definitely be sure to demo that placement! Thank you for the suggestion!
It used to be done that way up the cheek and a little up towards the forehead . Different decade. Most likely didnt describe the placement best but it wasn't solely on the cheek bone.
Dear before posting this comment I truly saying I didnt finish the whole video ,the reason is I am not truly a blush person ,I love the outer package of Hermes Blush as well as the brush ,but after watching your review I plan not to go for brush I love Sonia g brushes more ,eventhough this brush pick the products more but not blending smoothly like Soina g , I have some texture on my cheeks area that is the only reason I am not falling for blushes eventhough they look gorgeous, I love Sisley,chantecaille blushes more compare to Hermes, now talking about this application method,dear you are so much devoted to the work who will wear makeup again and again, me ? Between #28 Rose Plume and #32 Rose Pommette, which one compliments fair neutral skin complexion best without looking yellowish?
My complexion doesn’t go as well with orangey & brown colors.
I prefer some sweet & youthful looking color.
I think they are both great for fair neutral skin but Rose Plume is my pick. Edited to say that Rose Poivre is my absolute favorite though. It wasn't available when I made this video but it is available on the Hermes site now and I have it in a video here: th-cam.com/video/hn7NX-TUxuo/w-d-xo.html

I don’t think so but you may want to call them and ask. I have noticed though that the size of the items makes more of a difference because it needs to warrant the bigger box or they send the small one which is always white. So when i order one eyeshadow palette and some lip liners, i got a small box but two eyeshadow palettes gave me a big pretty box even though i spent more the first time.
By the way, make sure you look for their gwp purchases. Anytime they offer a bag, you usually get a box.

Hi Lexi, now is two years later, do you have a favorite blush from these 8 Hermes blushes? And are the Sisley Phyto blushes still your favorite blushes of all time, i.e. more than the Tom Ford's Brazen Rose, or the Suqqu #04?
I love the Hermes Rose Poivre which I think is not in this set as it was released later in the US but from here Rose Plume is a favorite. Sisley phyto blushes are great but not my current favorite. I'm not sure what is my favorite at the moment. The TF and Suqqu 04 are definitely up there in my favorites though and ones I use often. The TF is the best for a light nude/rose blush. It reminds me of the original Chanel Rose Ecrin which is a favorite of mine (the new version ruined it and the color isn't the same anymore).

Chanel rose petal is like the color I was hoping Hermès rose blush was gonna be, it was way too bright for me. I’m interested in getting rose ombré but the packaging felt so cheap idk If I’ll buy any more
You could always see if you have a compact with the right size you prefer and add a refill instead. I don’t have anything in which it would fit perfectly but perhaps you do. The Chanel rose petale is gorgeous though!

I personally like the way the Sonia G brush applied the blush more diffused and even. The Hermes side is not natural looking and the blush was all over and not where it should be.
For my coloring i definitely need a softer, more difusing brush but hopefully those with deeper skintones can see how deep these blushes can get. My application was definitely messier on that side!

Yes I wanted to keep the placement a bit higher because I have a lot of redness in my cheeks and they get aggravated easily with the multiple swatches. Hopefully you can see the actual shade of each blush though and I think the placement will be different for different face shapes and particular shades imo. I think the rosier shades look beautiful just on the cheek center. I will be wearing these more on a regular basis so I will definitely be sure to demo that placement! Thank you for the suggestion!
It used to be done that way up the cheek and a little up towards the forehead . Different decade. Most likely didnt describe the placement best but it wasn't solely on the cheek bone.

Dear before posting this comment I truly saying I didnt finish the whole video ,the reason is I am not truly a blush person ,I love the outer package of Hermes Blush as well as the brush ,but after watching your review I plan not to go for brush I love Sonia g brushes more ,eventhough this brush pick the products more but not blending smoothly like Soina g , I have some texture on my cheeks area that is the only reason I am not falling for blushes eventhough they look gorgeous, I love Sisley,chantecaille blushes more compare to Hermes, now talking about this application method,dear you are so much devoted to the work who will wear makeup again and again, me ? I will run away, thank you dear for making such a wonderful video I accept that Hermes should comeup with meganitic box this is disappointing ...I hope they will consider after watching your video .🥰🥰🥰☺🤗🤗🤗

@@LexiJong thank you dear for saying this but the truth is I am economically poor 😄😅,but that's not all mostly I avoid or forget to wear blush and due to scare on my cheek also make me uncomfortable, I have Dior 2020 new look 47 limited edition and chanel duo highlighter blush from 2021 fleure de printemps on my makeup collections. You have gorgeous skin so most blushes look gorgeous on you .☺🤗🤗🤗
