He has nothing to be ashamed of, or a reason to hide away. He was chipping away at the rounds and doing well, lapse in concentration for a second and got KOd. Povetkin won by skill, not luck. This was always going to be a fantastic fight, and I'm looking forward to the rematch just the same.

@@razakmanify really, i don't think so. the whole buildup was constantly saying what a huge threat Povetkin is and how he's a world class fighter, but just getting on a bit. the commentary seemed very fair to me, it's just that they talked about Whyte more, which is completely natural when he's from the country of the broadcaster. as their audience know more about him

Amir khan gets knocked out by everybody i mean he does fight good guys but he has never put his position in danger he fights people to gain something while dillian already gained a spot for title but he puts himself in danger regardless cause they dont give it to him. @@neild7687 You are 100% correct. Most of the deals Hearn makes for Joshua are simply trash. You basically got to beat Joshua twice for a small fraction of the purse. No upside if you win once. Ya'll wonder why Wilder turned down 40 million to fight Joshua. It's because the first fight was worth around 200+million if done on PPV and not a streaming service (80-20 for Joshua) and the 2nd fight could of been worth 300+ mil but Wilder would still make 40 million. That is just now how business is done in boxing especially in America. For those of you guys that say WIlder wasn't worth this or that, explain why the experts were saying the fight was worth 250mil vs Wilder but he was doing 30 million vs Povetkin? What made it more? It certainly wasn't more British or European buys at $20 per buy.

I agree, since he beat Chisora first time I’ve been a big fan. He put together a decent win streak against some tough opponents, took on anyone and improved along the way. He’s got all the attributes of a top heavyweight. Look at the shape of him now compared to his last fight when he was overweight and stressed from being blackballed by WBC. He’s worked really hard. Not sure what happened with Mark Tibbs and whether that played a part in lapse of concentration? Tibbs would have identified and drilled him on that during the fight but it was a monster punch with great timing and that is how good Povetkin is, even now. I think M Hunter clearly beat him but the way Povetkin hung in the fight and caused problems even when hurt proves he’s a warrior. Hunter said Whyte would get KO’d and he wasn’t wrong. But Whyte was dominating. He will come back stronger again and make the necessary adjustment to see AP off in good style next time. He has to right that wrong and he will.
