I know some people who have flipped their explorers. But that's a different kind of flipping
I worked at a local Ford dealership for about 10years. I was changing the clutch and seals in dps6's , about 2 a day for 4-5 years straight. along with tcm's, actuators, shift forks etc. Those are great cars when the trans is working properly
Yeah I’ve done a lot of them myself too, even at our little small dealer. Some of the easiest money you could make on Fords dime.

Could you give me some advice. I have a ford focus 2017. I had a rear end wreck. Took it to the body shop and when I went to pick up the car they said the transmission was out. No reverse wouldn't stay in its forward gears. It had a shutter when it shifted b4 but always shifted and only has 38k miles on it. It has a code p2837 b. I'm trying to get it fixed. Relearning didn't work. Tomorrow I'm having a tcm replaced. I'm worried its more than that. You work on these a lot. Could I get some ideas from you.

I have a 2013 f150 stx 4x4 5.0 tires were road force tested and all are perfectly balanced. 3 different sets so far and feels like it has a forward rotational vibration/ shake. What do you think problem could be?
Driveshaft maybe?

Vibrations can be tricky. The way they travel to your seat where you feel it the most all determines where if “feels” like it’s coming from. I’ve found in many cases what felt like it was coming from the front can indeed be coming from the rear.

I do not think he is one of those guys. He is doing it right, the right way. It is a side gig for him.

@@FlyingWrenches13 find a small dealer that will let you use their license for 500.00 a car. It would save you the taxes and fees when you buy one, keep you out of trouble with the state, and give you a place to market and sell them if you end up with 4 or 5 at a time.
