It's weird to me that Punisher used to be so popular he had multiple ongoing series at once. Looking at the artwork here kind of helps me understand why that was. Going to grab this.
hey man, a bit late here but thanks for the video, this same book just got launched here in brazil (yeah pretty late but it is what it is) and i will sure get it! thanks for the review
Im reading it now on Kindle and really enjoying it :) Read the first 3 stories in one day and now on the 4th as I watch this. Your right, the art by Jim Lee is god smacking stunning even in grey and white. Im so looking forward to the Wolverine part. I bought it on Kindle for 3 pounds. Pretty cheap huh? ;) Great review. Hope you do more comic reviews. I might get some others.
Jim Lee Punisher as best drawn? Definitely. Carl Potts as best written? Nah. But underrated. His Punisher did have the most humanity. Chuck Dixon's War Zone Punisher was a guy that had been killing for a lot longer. Like Carl Potts had been Punisher for a year, Dixon's War Zone had been Punisher for at least 10 to 15 years.
Not to bad I think it was long and had they trimmed it of excess needless stories the Netflix series would have worked better. I really can't tell what specific books they used but went with general ideas from the comics.
it's odd as they have a version of only 8-9 issues odd!!! was buyin that then seen this one odd WHERE ARE OTHER VOLUMES!!!? EVEN GOOD WARZONE!!!....I JUST GOT THIS AMAZON TOTAL $24........AND OTHER PUNISHERS A FAN SINCE 1983!!! That is cheap it seems digital editions are much cheaper and take up no space at home. I do have some epics to post. :)
Can Marvel steal him back from DC but only as an artist. ;)
Lee and Potts’ Punisher was THE best Punisher.
Look into the Epic Collection books 2 and 3 have nice art as well.

Is there a hardback cover of this?
No just this trade.
They made a Punisher Epic Collection volume called "Capital Punishment." Back in December 19 2017. Any thoughts on it?
I looked it up not a bad collection but I think that far into the run the Punisher books cooled off and the earlier issues were better.
What do you think are the comics that inspired the Netflix Punisher?

I got that one too it's great
Christian samuel santiago hernandez are the illustrations in colour or only black and white?
