I wouldn't say he's the cleanest - I think Sierra Hull and Adam Steffey have the edge there - but Sam doesn't need to be anything more than what Sam is. He is a legend and rightly so. One of my favourite players.
I purchased of the other 6 Gibson made after that one - it is gorgeous in sound and sight! (Though I can't play anything remotely close to Sam - but then again - few can)
yes. weirdly, the version of this tune we all know from Sam and Howdy doesn't really sound like the version Eck recorded. I wonder where Howdy got his version.
Telluride, Colorado - They've held a huge bluegrass festival there every year since the early 70's ('73 maybe?). It's a big deal to perform there, and they always have great acts.
It’s my pleasure Gondola Sessions Sam Bush is a master of his craft
Nothing better than Sam Bush and this tune. Iconic.
Sam Bush is the cleanest, most tasteful Mandolin pickers on the planet. He is brilliant.
Can agree to that!

In my humble opinion Sam Bush is without a doubt o e of the finest mandolin pickers ever created and the Gondola just adds too it , well done
I agree!
Thanks Liam, we also agree!
Always amazing to watch you play Sam!

@@ginzodude I used to own a Derrington F5-G, but I'd really like one of these G-GT. You're one of the lucky 7!
@@f5mando I do feel lucky! Bought it from the great Frank Solivan. Also have a Gibson F5 as well as a Gibson Adam Steffey (one of 48)
Every body likes Bush .. Very nice Mando playing
Awww, Sam I love it, as always! Happy New Year to you and Lynn!
So7nds very pretty. You play beautifully.
Awesome pickin.
Amazingggg.
Fiddlers Eck Robertson and Howdy Forrester had early recordings of this demanding tune, I think. Sam does them proud.

I just love you so; this is the best, I felt as I was sitting right there with you!
Excellent, of course.
Telluride?

Indeed, and Sam Bush has been dubbed the ‘King Of Telluride’
"Telluride" is also a fun Dawg tune written for the festival some years ago.
I would give my right arm to be able to play like that. Oh wait One arm wont work will it.
TAB here :-)
