love your videos! love your candor as Im a newbie !
New to the art of glass but loved this video. Going to try it. I read all the posts and you are so so nice to respond and be so gracious!
Good luck and welcome to glass!
Very nice! I love the Colour de Verre molds they are very nice. I've never had a problem with them using Zyp either. Years ago, I made a smaller but similar piece and I was able to use my high speed Dremel with a diamond bit to clean-up between the leaf points. You do have to be careful and comfortable and light-handed with a Dremel, (I do some engraving on glass) and it worked perfectly. Beautiful Jamaison, thanks for sharing! 😉👍
I enjoy your learning videos. They inspire me to be creative. Thank you!
Thank you for a great video. Your tips and tricks are fantastic. Will be ordering the ear wax machine! One of those moments of why didn’t I think of that.
that is really nice, love the colors and the fact that u share the Good and the Bold. so making a few of these and then tack or contour fusing together to make a bowl like drape over SS might be really cool too
This is a great video! I know it's been a few years since you released it, so you may have already thought of this idea. Regarding your vacuum, I don't know how strong the motor is. But I was thinking that if you attached a short piece of aquarium tubing to the red adapter, you could get greater control without having to hold the bulky body so close to your workpiece. You could even attach a pencil or dowel to the end that you could hold for greater control.
Just a thought that might be worth trying if you haven't already.
Great idea!!!!
I'd recommend testing different lengths to see how the motor handles the distance, and probably not go longer than 18 inches. I think more than that and you'd experience a real drop in pressure, but there are ways around that too. @@JamaisonSchuler
Love, love, love your videos! Thanks so much for sharing - I am learning a lot from you and your projects really inspire me!
So love
Thanks for another awesome video!!! I just bought this mold and can’t wait to get started on it!
Have fun!!!
Wonderful tutorial. The leaves are amazing.
Thank you!!!
Beautiful!!
I watch and love all of your videos. Still haven’t figured out how to buy your decals.
Go to www.fusing.shop to purchase decals. Thanks.
I've only just discovered you and I love the clarity with which you present these videos. I plan to include a number of them in the FB page FusedGlassHOW? because you are very much in the HOW? area. If this is not what you want please let me know ASAP
Thank you for the very kind words! I’m happy for you to share with others... that’s why I do these, to bring others along on the learning journey!
Thanks. Could you use a damp paper towel to remove the excess?
I bet that could work, yes
Have you thought of taking this like the snow flakes combined together to make a bowl?
I have but just haven’t the time! I did make a bowl out of three of their large monstera leaves
I love the color combination you used. I don't have much experience with casting molds so far, but I've heard that it's better to mound the glass in the middle to allow for it to spread out to the edges, which helps to avoid spikes Have you tried this?
Yes, that definitely helps!
There!!!
Thank you for sharing! What is the squeezy mesh tool?

What bowl mold did you use?
Jamaison that bullseye ball...i didn't get it. What is the firing degrees, can a microwave do it⁉️❗️thank you
It’s a very large bowl mold. Sorry, I have zero experience with microwave fusing.
i went to the site for the colourdeverre molds and couldnt u have done a freeze and fuse with a cheaper mold?
Perhaps 🤷🏻♂️ If that’s your thing…
Nice video, thank you. I literally just bought that mold, waiting for it to arrive. I am curious, why not use the slumping mold on the backside? Have you tried it and not liked it? Or do you prefer the roundness of the BE mold?
Honestly, I just haven’t tried it yet because I love the shape of the ball mold!
@@JamaisonSchuler I love this mold too! Beautiful color choices and lovely piece! And I have used the back of the mold to slump and ended up reslumping in a deeper mold as it barely defines it in a slump.
Appreciate that extra insight!
How come prepared slump you have veins raised but post slump the veins are indented?
Hi Helen! They are still raised... maybe that was just an optical illusion?
😊👏🙏
What size mold did you use for the slump?
I can’t remember for sure… maybe 9 or 10” ball mold?
@@JamaisonSchuler Makes sense. I think the mold I used was just to big to get a good enough slump. You are so kind to reply - I learn so much from you!
Very mice
Hi there,
I couldn't seem to find the firing schedule for this leaf. Is it possible to get some help with that?
Where is the best place to buy glass for fusing?
Gosh, this is hard to answer as there are so many variables. If you can find a local art glass shop, I’d start there. Often better to buy local than pay for shipping.
@@JamaisonSchuler thank you for your reply! That's the problem no local art glass shops.
