I remember when that " No Fucking Way" popped up on the screen. One of the greatest moments of this song. But when the "Don't Worry, Everything Will Be Alright. Trust Me" scrolled across the Wall, I bawled my eyes out. The show I saw was the last show of the first Philly run and it was on Veterans Day, and my mother was in the Army, so it hit me right in the feels. My first time crying at a concert.
You must listen to the lockdown recording he does with this song MOTHER. It’s so emotional you have to check it out I’ll guarantee you that a few tears will whell up inside you but it’s a must watch & listen. 😢
Saw this live in the early eighties in the UK, pity the cameraman decided to pan away from Rogers expression when he says " should I trust the government " . It is a simple fact that Roger Waters is Pink Floyd, the man is a singer song writer composer genius.
Roger could sing both parts if he wanted or needed to. It's cool he holds true to the concept....the brilliant concept. Btw..this song gets me EVERY fuckin time!
