The only boy band that still intact, 27 years, and counting. Despite their ups & down, misunderstandings when Kyesang left, just shows that their friendship has really stood the test of time.
And I think it because the both side was like never hurt each other after Kyesang left. Even Kyesans try so hard to not dragging the group name on every his new schedule as an actor and never let the media use that card to makes any rumors or unacceptable news about their separation over and over again. It's more like it was only between them so don't ever touch and try to involved with us, not even fans. Kyesang itself still gives such a respective space for JYP and the members to keep walking and continue the activities without felt like they're left him or abandoned by them. Both sides take the separation positively and truly respect each other without promising. I means that each of them did it with actions, not only say it in words to the interviewers nor media. All of them are such a mature gentleman so yeah it's great for the fans. 👍
As the previous comment mentioned, they never actually made personal attacks on one another in public or publicly dissed one another's career choices. Unfortunately, the media took advantage of that refusal to badmouth one another and started the rumor mill, partly causing an internal misunderstanding between the members. Once they properly aired everything out, the misunderstanding was cleared up. Kyesang actually had doubts about rejoining them because he was worried about any lingering resentment but he had a "carpe diem" moment after Hoyoung's suicide attempt and decided to rejoin.
@@nsi79 Kyesang wanted to leave the celebrity life altogether but he got offered an acting gig and went into it right after leaving. Because of the timing, people started saying he had betrayed his group and some fans did actually call him a traitor. The truth is, he just chose not to say anything to defend himself or dispel anything because the media might twist anything he said. Taewoo was the only one who stayed in contact with him and kept "nagging" him to rejoin them. Hoyoung attempted suicide in 2013 after his own girlfriend's suicide. He was said to have already struggling with depression and his girlfriend's death was the last straw. I think that incident traumatized the members so badly because they have never publicly talked about it EVER except for a MBC documentary about their 2014 reunion (even Taewoo, who never cries, got teary-eyed talking about it).
My first group that i love their dissed and teasing.really respect them!!so funny and hopefully remain healthy and show us more joke in future.my bias is joonie!!!!
Some things never change. Joon has the attention span of an elementary school kid, Kyesang is a crackhead, Hoyoung is the group mom and scolds Taewoo, DanWoo forever and their "food chain" is still real. 🤣

It's not a capital letter 'GOD' but a lowercase letter 'god'.
