Morissette is a real story teller. Her emotions really sets the tone of the message. As a recent converted Christian you can tell that she is really feeling the message of the song. From my understanding Mori has donated to worthy charities within her own country. Not only she has a voice of an angel but a heart of gold. ❤️❤️❤️

8:00 Nice reaction, ladies. This beautiful prayer of a song was released during the pandemic quarantine. I was quarantined alone, and honestly, I was starting to despair. This song helped get me through. That's when I understood Morissette's power to move people through her artistry and music.
The song was originally sung by Gary Valenciano. It was part of a Christian musical in the Philippines. The writer of the song died a few years back and to honor him the musical was revived and Gary reworked this song so Morissette could sing it. It was the first time Gary rearranged one of his songs so that another artist could sing it. Very special song indeed.
For another stunning Mori performance, in which she shows all her vocal capabilities, but also the full spectrum of emotions: „Gusto ko nang bumitaw“ (but do the „live version with band“, not the Wish bus version) Snd you might want to pull up a translation of the lyrics from the web in parallel, as the video unfortunately doesn‘t come with subtitles (but you will get it anyways…!)
Morissette has a very strong Christian faith and is not afraid to show it, which I love about Mori. Although technically a performance I suppose, I think this is also really a prayer as well by Mori to her Lord and Savior. And to me this shows very clearly how Mori does not need to use all of the amazing techniques in her endless bag of vocal tools to sing an incredible song. She only uses what is appropriate for the song, and she does it better than anyone else in my estimation. 😊😊❤❤❤❤

When I watched her in the video O Come O Come Emmanuel (Favor church)In my comment. I said if I have ever seen the shining light of God I had definitely seen it in Morissettes face, when someone speaks or sings about God you can tell by their facial expression if the Holy spirit is in them.When she walks into the other room raises her hand and the light came on.I knew something was coming when she turned and looked up and said "Rejoice Rejoice" I got chills all over and at that moment you can see the light of love for God.That is one of my favorite videos of all time, you cannot love someone you do not know more than I love that young lady.
