Born in Germany, Dieter dreamed of flying in the sky since he was a child. When he grew up, he immigrated to the United States with his family and joined the army to become a real pilot. Dieter then joined the Navy to fight in Vietnam. On his way to carry out his mission, Dieter's plane was unfortunately shot down by the Vietnamese army's ground fire. He escaped death, but was eventually captured and tortured by the enemy. Dieter was taken to a prisoner of war camp in Laos, where he was accompanied by several fellow American troops. The enemy guards treated them inhumanely, and Dieter was determined to escape before he could sit down, but his companions around him, Gene and Duane, did not think so, and they did not have much confidence. After some persuasion, Dieter carefully planned to escape from prison when the rainy season comes. They have to face the endless jungle, hunger, wild animals, and the Vietnamese who do not know where

Well he would have been double the height of the vietnamese there are like 90cm so he would get out of the line with his 180cm...😂😂😂 nah for real I didnt get this part either! Ain't nothing important about his height!
But he probably didn't stand up because he had a AK in the face and they are yelling at him to stay down and he didn't want to be seen as rude or not affraid to die!(because he sure was affraid to die) Because if you stand tall and have pride on your face they will make that pride disappear in a second!!🤯 So complying with them is the best way to stay alive for a bit... But the fact he was 6 foot nobody give a shii not even vietnamese. Height have nothing to do!!
You can see people from all height getting kill in ukraine right now!! So bullet dont give a damm about your height when it go through your skull and brain!! So it's just a useless part of information...🤦🏻‍♂️

THE LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT DOES NOT EXCLUDE ANYONE!
Our country Vietnam and China have mountains next to mountains and rivers next to rivers
      1. Never be apart
      2. Need to live realistically
      3. Do not be vague or delusional

      6. War paralyzes the mind. Very clever, very scheming, very wise, very unjust!
      7. Love, forgive and destroy all hatred!
      That is the eternal law
      8. Our country:
      + Harmony with China
      + Pro-American
+ Neutral, not following any faction, not inciting lust, violence, or resentment towards anyone
+ Be friends with the whole world, cooperate for mutual development, love Laos, Cambodia, and China as inseparable neighbors, like teeth and lips.
+ Borrowing Japanese ODA money to develop the country
Long live Peace, independence, self-reliance, self-reliance, the people are gentle, not cruel
      9. Our country is intellectual, moral, and loving. Live according to the law of cause and effect, law, conscience

      13. When you see your own mistakes, you don't see other people's faults.
      14. Never harbor hatred towards any country.

My husband of 46 years now fought in the Vietnam war. He was 18 years old at the time. He never spoke about the war hardly at all,… just bits here and there. When we first married,.. he still had nightmares about being in the war and would scream out in his sleep,.. wake up sweating. This went on for a few years then settled down finally. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell pulmonary adenoid carcinoma just 8 weeks ago and now is already on Hospice at our home. He began having those same nightmares again while in the stage of actively dying. He is a good man and was/is a proud Marine. Any war is a terrible thing and it leaves many scars in one’s soul having to go through it all. I have much respect for all soldiers of war,.. both dead or alive. Maybe one day this whole world will realize that it’s much better to get along with one another so all can have peace without any wars,..one can always hope. God Bless All In This World.❤

Dieter Dengler (May 22, 1938 - February 7, 2001) was a German-born United States Navy aviator who was shot down over Laos and captured during the Vietnam War. After six months of imprisonment and torture, and 23 days on the run, he became only the second captured US airman to escape during the war. Of the seven prisoners of war who escaped together from the Pathet Lao prison camp in Laos, only he and Thai citizen Phisit Intharathat survived.[1] After the war, he worked as a test pilot for private aircraft and as a commercial airline pilot.

We just protected our country from invaders. If you have a chance to go to Vietnam, you can visit Hoa Lo prison- there used to be place that we kept american soldiers when they bombed Ha Noi streets and killed thousands of innocent people. Do you know what the secret meaning is? The message they are trying to teach? You have to be strong to survive. We all suffer. We will all suffer. In the end, we lose everything and then we die. We only leave behind memories to others of our own existence. Good or bad, that's all we leave behind. Most of US will not change the world. Most of US only impact those we encounter along OUR journey. Good or Bad. Those are your choices. Godspeed to everyone. Make good decisions to help guide others along your way.

Many American soldiers volunteered and came from the poorest areas of the states and didn’t have opportunities to be college educated. Most Americans like me then, were teenagers, 18 and 19 year olds and their bravery in combat, under fire or face to face against a screaming experienced fighter came without questions.
Not like Trump, or as many other spoiled brats, dodging any commitment and patriotic duty. We had 500,000 troops in 1968-1969, and they did their jobs and many didn't come home to their families except wrapped in an American flag.

I don't know what war movies you have seen about the Vietnam War, but I know one thing for sure that the Vietnamese people and soldiers fought for Vietnamese national independence and the main thing is that they did not investigate. brutally attacked and massacred prisoners of war like in this movie. You can learn more from former American soldiers who participated in the invasion of Vietnam. Remember that all the massacres of people originated mostly from America and America's allied countries that participated in the Vietnam War. The most typical example is the Son My in Quang Ngai

    • @tntkedits
      @tntkedits 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

You're right tho, did you hear about the youtube channel named "Dong Mau Viet"? He probably said that American soldiers who got captured by Vietnamese doesn't die like that way, they got taken to a prison named "Hoa lo" *i don't remember was it the right name lmao* even they didn't get tortured like this video, they got Vietnamese help with foods that are even more delicous than normal Vietnamese person, the Vietnamese also treated them well and after the war Vietnamese send them back to their home and their life returned normal again. Americans shouldn't watch this cause it was just a brain-rot movie that can destroy their mind about Vietnam war that they actually didn't get tortured like this movie

In a nationally televised speech, in late 1965. President Johnson announced his decision to send more American troops to South Vietnam, increasing the number of personnel there. Johnson also said that the monthly draft call would more than double, to more than 1,000 new young men per day (from 17,000 to 35,000) for enlistment and training in the U.S. Armed Forces.
And, so Stalin and Mao's previous offer of support to the Viet Minh changed the battlefield dynamic and geopolitical character from an independence struggle to become the Vietnam War.
