Team Galactic is really telling a tale of 2 teams this year. They've either been among the best, or among the worst at pretty much every event so far. It seems like they've decided to dump all their training time in the offseason into just a select few events. Certainly an interesting idea from coach Black Hole, and it makes for a much more interesting season! So rough to have been against the Pinkies too They were just flexing with that hump stall. But there's plenty more events and they surly aren't done yet. Reach for those dang stars
Due to the way the points drop off in the first few ranks, it's actually a better strategy to hyper focus on a few good events than to train evenly in all of them. First place awards more than double the points of 4th place, and there's still 12 teams after that!

I really like the aggressive strategy for the Racers on that second run. They had a decent score in their first and decided to go for a huge payoff. Nearly worked out for the perfect 40. Congrats to the Swarm that was a very impressive showing here.

It feels like they've grown this attitude of being "good enough" that they don't take all the events seriously anymore. Agreed. Seems like they've over-focused on Marbula One. The results there have been good. But, we need a deeper squad and a more well-rounded approach.
I also don't like this approach that the team's manager adopted. The O'Rangers are one of the greatest teams in marble league but have been simply average. There are still seven events, so I hope they listen to the community and make the needed changes.
@Will Mellquist I've noticed this trend too - the O'rangers love to give us hope with stellar performances in the first round, then choke the semifinals or finals. This year it looks right now as if they've taken that approach to the whole marble league. Solid showing the first few events, then just pathetic for the last few. As an old Rojo Rollers fan and now a Green Ducks fan, I can't tell you how much I dislike the savage speeders. They have played a hand in my teams downfalls again and again, year after year. Surely the day has to come where we finally get the best of them.
Ouch, that battle between Team Galactic and the Pinkies didn't quite turn out the way i would've liked, haha. Still leading though, but i'm afraid of it just being a matter of time before they relinquish that position and slip back to a top 5-ish place eventually, but so far so good.
I'm usually a Hazers fan but since they didn't make the qualifiers this year, I went with the Pinkies. And BOY! It's been great seeing them be consistent and just stay in the top three. YOU GOT THIS PINKIES! Wooooo!
Yet another pretty solid performence from my speeders. I hope that if we can manage to hang around the top 3, the team will have confidence to pinch the title again. Shoutout to the Pinkies though, even though they aren't in first right now they just keep grinding out medals, it really feels like it could be their year after so many bad performences in previous years.
One thing I noticed, and may be because of the way the events are filmed and Gregg commentators, but he doesn't talk about permutations in events like these. When the mint ymaniacs first run tied the savage speeders for 3rd, he didn't mention how many points they'd need to maintain the position. I feel like sometimes, if it's a podium spot he ought to mention it but he never does in events like this or block pushing or where there are multiple heats but the winner of the heat isnt guaranteed to move on. For me a lot of the fun is seeing and hearing that. Knowing what's at stake with each run would help keep the drama and suspense. Keep up the good work Gregg love ya man!
These videos become great to watch. Just a slight mistake I noticed at 1:17 in regards to 1:12. I think Green had 26 and Orange had 25. I know that that is just a practice run, but it was something I noticed.
Wow, nice catch! That is indeed the case. I wonder how they handle something like this. It's really not that big of a deal since it is practice as you said, but still-
Ever since my bois the Oceanics didn’t make it in the qualifiers, I’ve been rooting for gliding glaciers and minty maniacs. Whichever one does the best at the end of this season I will help root for with the Oceanics for the years to come. (I been rooting for the Oceanics since like the year before they won the Olympics. (I forgot the year it was)
I haven't been seeing enough love for my team, so GO TEAM PRIMARY! I know we're not getting anywhere close to recognition or the podium, but I'll still support them through the rough times.
I like Team Galactic's attitude this season. They are demonstrating what it means to 'Go big or go home'. They either make it to the podium or they stay at the bottom of the table in events. There is no middle ground for them.
In regards to the speeders: Going into this event, we sat in second, a little ahead of the pinkies, miles behind team Galactic. We now sit in third, however we are just five points away from pole. We are in great position in this marble league, and even if we can’t claim the top spot, so long as we keep this form going, we will end this marble league in a good position, of that I have no doubt. #speediskey
Speeders have always had a tendency towards very solid consistency from slow start. We're very much in the running still, love to see it. A lot can happen from now on, and if it keeps going like this, we'll be right up there where we belong.
With the way things are going, we could easily climb to 1st place if Team Galactic and the Pinkies don't get many points. Regardless, this is a great season, and a step-up compared to last year!
Today we witnessed a very intense and nerveracking competition, and I'm glad that my beloved Savage Speeders continue their fine form and are still close to P1 (only 5 points)! Also congratulations Shining Swarm for winning the event! #SpeedIsKey #RiseAndShine
Expected Shining Swarm to get a penalty from what happened to Mellow Yellow, then on the replay realised it was Yellim's own mistake. I'm glad it wasn't foul play, but I hope he's okay
Shining Swarm don’t get enough love!! Congratulations guys 🎉🎉 was going to throw my remote at the tv if they gave the tie break to the pinkies somehow. ✨🌪
I turned up a day late for this event, soz - my bad. Can someone tell me what's up with the scoreboard at 08:16, is it showing some inappropriate marble-on-marble action and needed pixelating??
Love it! Just a small criticism but I think it would be good of Greg was told how each event worked as far as heats, qualifying for the next phase, etc. The first few heat it's often evident he tries to figure out the details. Would feel even more immersive if he knew the details right from the start
@rocketroux I read previously, he does not like to do these races in advance so he learns as we do which makes him even more great in my eyes. Imagine having to know everyone's names, what they are doing and the event in real time. Kudos to Greg!
@@edwin7788 You misunderstand me. Of course I want his first watch to be live so the commentary is authentic. I don't suggest him knowing the results. I suggest he is given the "rules" per say. Like at the olympics, the person doing the commentary know how many athletes will go to the next round etc. They don't figure it out while the event progress. And just to clarify it's not a big criticism. Would just make it a bit better in my opinion.
Let’s goooo Pinkies!!! After the last events I thought our hype is over but hell yeah, we’re back on track! Keep up the great teamwork my Pinkies, this year is special to us Pinkiefans!! #PinkPower
I am glad Yellim is ok and would have liked to see the medical marbles checking on them to have that confirmed during the play. I'm we sure we were all worried you never want to see something crazy happen to a competitor. I've seen the comments so know this is the unpopular opinion and let me also preface with the Pinkies are a feel good story and I am rooting for them (when they aren't against my Cat's Eyes) however.... that should have been a 9. If a marble got all the way to a finish line and stopped it wouldn't qualify as a finish right? If they were stuck on the edge of ten and the red zone would they be given no points? I doubt it. It doesn't matter because no team had 36 points (where I believe the Pinkies should have been) and so we didn't need to see a tie break there.
Actually, if a marble is stuck at the peak between 2 waves, they will score the amount equal to the greater amount. I think they made the right call giving them 10 points.
I... what... how do you DNF in Swing Wave, Yellim? Sigh... alright, moving on. Wait, PWinky... how did you do that? This was an... experience, for sure.
Can anyone tell me about the blurring in some spots? I noticed something on the big screen got blurred, and then every so and again they blurred someone in the crowd, I think particularly someone in the Minty Maniacs stands. Was there an incident?
The blur on the big screen is because if you check the description, there was a technical error with video editing, the other blurs in the Minties section and around the track are all glitches due to TH-cam's video blur editor having issues, there were no fan incident, no intruders at all.
@@eliezersmarbleraces3137 good to hear; theres been a great streak of good sportsmanship amongst the fans in recent years, I'm glad to know that it hasn't been broken yet!
The blur on the jumbotron monitor is after a technical error where the standings were shown early, the other blurs around the crowd and the track during replay on Minty Maniacs, Chocolatiers first run are clear glitches all caused by the video blur editor.
We have one marble fall off the track, one stop at the top of a hill, and some teams doing worse than the demonstration team. This is an exciting event.
No, based off the rules from the wiki: If a marble is stuck at the peak between 2 waves, they will score the amount equal to the greater amount. And since Pinky Winky was between 9 and 10 they would get 10 points.
Chaotic, crazy event, and that's always fun. It's getting REAL hard to be an O'Rangers fan this season though. Here's hoping they can pull it together in the remaining events and get back to the top!!

@@shaneisbetterthanyou please help the Pinkies fans and the O’rangers fans stop arguing?
What a close race for first between Savage Speeders, Pinkies, and Team Galactic.
2 events before seperated by 2 points, now they're back within 5 after Pinkies & Savage Speeders lost a bit of ground the previous event. They just don't like being apart
Pinkies KILLING IT this year. A small bump in the road, but working their way up again with this event! So proud 🥲
Huge event to stop the slide for the pinkies, they really needed a solid performance here to stay in that top bunch and they delivered! Time to finish the season strong
Greg is definitely a mellow yellow fan lmao
The skill on the Pinkies! They're turning me into a Pinkies fan this year.
This has got to be my favorite regular track event. The ones that go outside are really exciting, and so are thr water events, but the wave is so tense with every single run
It's absurd to have a head to head event like this be placed as trials rather than an elimination tournament. What your competitor does has so much impact on your results.
YES Shining Swarm! Having no Hazers in the league I decided to root for another, more extreme underdog - and it's finally payed off! Great performance #ShineOn
HAHA this event makes me dizzy trying to follow the marbles. It's awesome. Razzies slowly making their move. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Team JMR!!!
PINKIES!!!!!! YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!! THE MOST CONSISTENT TEAM THIS SEASON!!!!!!! 🙏🏼💪🏼🔥 KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND KEEP THAT MOMENTUM GOING!!!!! 💖🎟💖 #PINKIEPOWER
As an old Rojo Rollers fan and now a Green Ducks fan, I can't tell you how much I dislike the savage speeders. They have played a hand in my teams downfalls again and again, year after year.
Surely the day has to come where we finally get the best of them.
What? I like Speeders and Rollers.
Wooooo!
Yep. Previously a joke team but now they're really crushing it. Meanwhile my beloved Hazers are falling off the wagon as well.

Wow
Welp there was the Galactic performance I was waiting on lol! We'll just have to redeem ourselves at the next event! #ReachForTheStars
This is the first time when a marble gets disqualified but the team still earns points
These videos become great to watch.
Just a slight mistake I noticed at 1:17 in regards to 1:12. I think Green had 26 and Orange had 25. I know that that is just a practice run, but it was something I noticed.
Is there an independent overarching Officiating Council we should contact to make certain the results are correctly recorded?
Wow, nice catch! That is indeed the case. I wonder how they handle something like this. It's really not that big of a deal since it is practice as you said, but still-
Ever since my bois the Oceanics didn’t make it in the qualifiers, I’ve been rooting for gliding glaciers and minty maniacs. Whichever one does the best at the end of this season I will help root for with the Oceanics for the years to come. (I been rooting for the Oceanics since like the year before they won the Olympics. (I forgot the year it was)
Man those were the days when you could be a fan of blue marbles without total disappointment.
it's THE sports event of the year :D or at least the only one I will watch
Why, is there anything else relevant in the world right now? s/
the orangers truly never fail to disappoint. they had strong but unconvincing start, and now here comes the collapse
The Pinkies have pulled off some impressive feats lately. A result like that is almost as insane as a coin landing on its side(edge) from a coin flip.
Wow. I was on the edge of my seat watching this event. What a thriller!
In regards to the speeders:
Going into this event, we sat in second, a little ahead of the pinkies, miles behind team Galactic.
A lot can happen from now on, and if it keeps going like this, we'll be right up there where we belong.
agree with ya! #SpeedIsKey
They've proven, time and time again, that you can never count them out.
With the way things are going, we could easily climb to 1st place if Team Galactic and the Pinkies don't get many points.
Regardless, this is a great season, and a step-up compared to last year!
This is just the BEST
Team Galactic: Either you’re FIRST or you’re LAST
Today we witnessed a very intense and nerveracking competition, and I'm glad that my beloved Savage Speeders continue their fine form and are still close to P1 (only 5 points)! Also congratulations Shining Swarm for winning the event! #SpeedIsKey #RiseAndShine
The Speeders are coming close! #Speediskey
@@legendarywiimaster yes! I believe that in the following events they will finally strike for the lead!

Too bad though about the second run of the rasberry racers...they were so close to a record.
I can't believe how happy I was when boc didn't get dead last💀
Can't wait thanks Jelle for the 2022 ML!
Thrilled to see the Minty Maniacs make podium again. They’ve been having a rough League thus far.
I just want to say what a pleasure these games have been….. Since those bloody LIMERS aren’t in this year!!!
Maaaaan the Racers were within millimeters of a perfect score, can't be mad at that result though. Keep climbing! #RaspberryRobust
Oh no.... Mellow Yellow! Did ever any Marble manage to leave that course??😱😭🟡⚠️⤴️➡️⤵️
Didn't you learn from Aquamaring? If there's even a small chance of any marble falling off the course, it's going to be someone from Mellow Yellow :P
I turned up a day late for this event, soz - my bad. Can someone tell me what's up with the scoreboard at 08:16, is it showing some inappropriate marble-on-marble action and needed pixelating??
The blur at that timestamp is due to the final standings of the event accidentally being revealed before the event ended.
The Racers ALMOST shocked the world lol
Well, the real life commentator doesn't know the result beforehand,
So he not knowing anything would make the immersion better
@@edwin7788 You misunderstand me. Of course I want his first watch to be live so the commentary is authentic. I don't suggest him knowing the results. I suggest he is given the "rules" per say. Like at the olympics, the person doing the commentary know how many athletes will go to the next round etc. They don't figure it out while the event progress.
And just to clarify it's not a big criticism. Would just make it a bit better in my opinion.
@@rocketroux5838 ahh, that one I agree
Maybe he should be sent the example runs and the scoring rules.
Let’s goooo Pinkies!!! After the last events I thought our hype is over but hell yeah, we’re back on track! Keep up the great teamwork my Pinkies, this year is special to us Pinkiefans!! #PinkPower
Sold out arena today. Fans are pumped.
I’m glad my team (Shining Swarm) is starting to make a comeback. They gotta win this year!
So proud of the Glaciers for getting silver in the last event. Another great finish could land us in the top five! Go Gliding Glaciers!
#GlidetoGlory
Go, Gliding Glaciers, go!!! 🏔❄☃
Let's go savage speeders!! Whooo
Happy to see the Balls of Chaos pull it together and finish in the top half of the field
Balls Of Chaos and Midnight Wisps are in danger of getting elimated!
As a Pinkies and Raspberry Racers fan, we will *CRUSH* you!
I... what... how do you DNF in Swing Wave, Yellim?
Sigh... alright, moving on.
Wait, PWinky... how did you do that?
This was an... experience, for sure.
Of course Mellow Yellow is the team that gets the unluckiest go. This has been the story of this tournament so far for them
Great event as always! It's good to see a new event from last year's Marble League being used once again this year! See you at the next event!
7:18 insane! I guess if you do these things long enough, miraculous things are bound to happen.
Im loving the showing bumblebees and pinkies are having this year
Can anyone tell me about the blurring in some spots?
Can anyone explain what all the censor blurs (first on a monitor, and later randomly all over the crowd) were for this episode?
The blur on the jumbotron monitor is after a technical error where the standings were shown early, the other blurs around the crowd and the track during replay on Minty Maniacs, Chocolatiers first run are clear glitches all caused by the video blur editor.
Dang, if the racers had managed to just keep that last marble from going over we’d be in such a good spot now.
In 11 rounds, Galactic has 4 gold medals, but averages only 5 points for the other 7 rounds. That average would put them 14th otherwise
We have one marble fall off the track, one stop at the top of a hill, and some teams doing worse than the demonstration team. This is an exciting event.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL
I was half expecting a 9.5 for Pinky Winky
No, based off the rules from the wiki: If a marble is stuck at the peak between 2 waves, they will score the amount equal to the greater amount. And since Pinky Winky was between 9 and 10 they would get 10 points.
Anyone else have a bunch of weird blurs on their feed? I thought it might just be the camera, but at the end it was over the scores as well
I mean sure, this is a swarm based discipline. The shining swarm have been in their element here.
Chaotic, crazy event, and that's always fun. It's getting REAL hard to be an O'Rangers fan this season though. Here's hoping they can pull it together in the remaining events and get back to the top!!
